Thread shows you how much people buy into narratives vs reality which is why you see bozos like trump get elected. It’s pervasive even outside of sports.

Allen and Lamar have the “most” pressure yet either would lose nothing and nothing would change with their situations outside of chatter, if the lost. Even with terrible play but they both seem to past that point in their careers, at least vs sub par opponents.

The 2 QBs with most to lose, who actually had pressure because they’re cognizant of this just as much as the organizations they play for, layed duds that cost them. The media already has already given up on both :mjlol: Allen / Jackson would at least have some support. Either way, they played like they didn’t have any pressure.

This is why you talk sports discussions with a grain of salt, most people you discussing shyt with don’t really understand much outside of what they’re told.

theres a difference between competitive pressure vs money pressure

when people talk about Allen/Lamar pressure theyre talking about their legacy/HoF status and all of those things

I dont think ANYONE would argue with you that FINANCIALLY and CAREER-SAVING wise Darnold had the most to lose

Allen and Lamar are known commodities and perennial MVP contenders. obviously no matter what happens they will be on their teams and will be paid

everyone understands what youre saying. there are many ways to look at "pressure" my G
