Exactly, lamar has been working under this exact same scenario and there was no excuse for him at all, he was the unanimous mvp with a mediocre receiving core and expected to perform now allen is getting every pass in town, ignore clowns like @Thavoiceofthevoiceless their only role is to make every and any excuse for white qbs its a consistent theme and pattern, check previous posts as well, the media has glazed allen at every turn, changed playoff rules for him, at some point he has to perform or get to the superbowl, enough of the nonsense
Nobody cares about your damn opinion you damn dikk sucking, repeating the same shyt chat gpt bytch… log the fukk off with them bloated looking hands you fat pathetic loser…

Lamar pretty much has the entire legacy of the black quarterback on his back, he will always be under the most pressure to win a Super Bowl for daring to be that black and that good at a position that he was never even supposed to play :unimpressed:
What the fukk are you talking about about?

Lamar is just another black QB in the line of excellent great black QBs.

He isn't carrying the weight of black QBs as that was done earlier by Doug Williams and the like. Kordell, randle, warren moon, Mike Vick, Steve McNair and etc.

Stop trying to rewrite history and push identity narrative that simply doesn't exist for him

Gap doesnt close on Mahomes if allen of lamar wins one ring :mjlol:

No they need at least 2 rings
Believe that if yall want. If im not mistaken Allen has the most TDs and the most (regular season) wins since he’s been starter. Lamar possibly about to have 3 MVPs

Discussions will be had if they win it all

Voted Sam Darnold.

If dude underperforms everybody would know dude is the Sam Darnold everyone knew.

If dude plays bad everyone is going to say that he’s a Justin Jefferson merchant. At least Lamar will still draw QB1 attention.

No Allen is second in wins, 76, to Mahomes (89); and he's third in win percentage at .691 (Mahomes .802, Lamar .745)...

Lamar :mjcry:
Allen
Hurts

when it comes to them bc they are top 2, 3, 5 or 10 QB's in the league depending on how you cut it

after that
Goff
Darnold
Baker

Will feel some heat (darnold and Goff especially bc of their record, at least Baker has had his receivers out)

Herbert, Love and Stroud won't bc their teams are "early" in terms of how good they should/can be

Lamar especially bc he's black, is the talk of the nfl (good or bad), mvp voting, his playoff record, ability to pass and rivalry with Mahomes, these will be excited more bc of racism.

Surely Goff is still playing with house money, though? Most people seemed to think that he was just a throw-in part of the Stafford trade so he wasn't the proverbial bad smell in LA once Stafford took his job. Moreso, I can't remember many people thinking he'd own a starting job again at the end of that contact, and I would be amazed if anyone thought he'd get PAID like he has.

Stack all of the Lions injuries up, too, and he's surely under very little pressure, save for whatever pressure that he'll put upon himself?

I totally get what you say, though,, as it might seem a long road back if they don't win the chip this year.

Goff is straight, because Detroit's defense is half dead. Despite the fact the Lions keep winning in spite of it. Really, as long as they make it to the NFC championship anything else is gravy.

Facts there is always an excuse for josh allen. According to the media its mahomes and allen that are the two top qbs ignoring the fact the josh allen has the same amount of afc championship game appearances as the "choker" lamar. They had to change the playoffs rules because the media got angry allen couldn't beat mahomes in regular time

The "excuse" for Josh Allen is that 9/10 times, he plays his best ball in the postseason. Even if the results don't go his way. But he is absolutely under more pressure than anyone not named Lamar.

Lamar's WORST ball comes in the postseason. Hence why he has more pressure on him than Allen. Until people accept that the reason Lamar catches this heat is because he tends to shyt the bed -- by his standard of excellence -- when the money's on the line, this "WHY WE DON'T DO THIS TO JOSH" rhetoric will continue.

I’ve stated before ITT and I do stand by it, that Lamar has had one of the worst supporting offensive weapons of any contender in the NFL for years. Last season I thought he had mildly better options but still not to the level of others

This year he finally has another legit weapon on the outside and has a HOF guy as a running mate

Josh Allen had an elite weapon
Mahomes had elite weapons

Lamar finally got his and he put together one of the greatest seasons in NFL history.

I’m not of the mindset that Lamar doesn’t have pressure, but when you mention it with him you better do the same with Allen

Lamar is a two-time MVP with inferior weapons (and it only gets pointed out that they are inferior when shyt ain't sweet anymore and the Ravens lose).

This means Lamar is a considerably better player than Allen, who also has significant pressure on him.

The superior player has higher expectations and way more pressure on him, especially when the superior player is consistently folding in the postseason while the guy he is compared to is significantly raising his game during that same setting.

Curse of excellence :manny:
It just is what it is. Both players have beaucoup pressure on them, but Lamar has way more on his shoulders.

nikka has a career 57% completion percentage in the postseason you don't need a Jamar Chase Justin Jefferson to be better than average. Lamar dikkriders are outta control he hasn't been good in the playoffs enough excuses

Justin Herbert received 0 votes so he's got nothing to worry about now

right?
He could have gotten away scot-free had he played decently/well... but not with today's effort. That was unacceptable. Regardless of what the Chargers lacked, their OL struggles against Houston's pass rush... that was unacceptable on his part.

Pressure's on now. He needs to put up a playoff W sooner than later and look good doing it.
