The coli told me seeing someone squat more than 315 or bench 225 was rarer than a non-racist white person. :troll:
If I survive my heavy set, my back off sets will be 215 actually.

That's rare? I've seen that in every non Planet Fitness gym I've ever been in. Not sayin' it's the norm, but definitely not rare at all.

Lol. I'm still practically new here and have missed the classics.

Oh, I got you:

1) Calisthenics are better than weights for everything. We got dudes benching 405+ just off push-ups alone.

2) As soon as you bench 225 you should start a thread to commemorate this vaunted achievement. You won't bench more than 300 natty, unless you're @Luck or @BenchPressPapi.

3) Deadlifts are for cacs. Barbell squats too, apparently.

4) Make sure to take advice from posters that are weaker than you are. Listening to strong people is not how you get stronger.

5) Preworkout is a placebo. Seriously. Caffeine being one of the most researched supplements means PWO doesn't actually improve your performance. Same thing for creatine.

If yoire bench pressing over 300 lbs get in here...

Few things:
- #POWDABOYZ™ is defunct. Never mention that name again. :mjcry:


- That's not a rack, that's a squat stand. If you happen to fail there are no safeties to help you. It costs less money and has a smaller footprint [takes up less space] than an actual rack. I wouldn't cheap out and grab one of those. I'd get an actual rack that can be bolted down if necessary. If money is that tight, a gym membership is still cheaper over time for a minute.



- Something like Body Power Deluxe Rack Cage, Accessories, Safety Bars, Floor-Mount Anchors
^this is still pretty affordable and will have moar utility. (It's 300 bucks from Wally Mart.) :yeshrug:



I'm not a home gym gang member (or even affiliated) but the pros of a home setup are pretty meh to me outside of rona quarantine.
