Non-lifting ass coli cats talmbout combat (most ain't ever enlisted or been commissioned) and armies.

Those armies used calisthenics because weights were invented and it's much easier to have someone do some push-ups and sit-ups in a large group training environment than taking everyone to the gym (nowadays).
:skip:

7th SFG cats train with weights like a mug. AF PJs, TACP and CCT cats have their own gym in the squadron. :camby:

But keep bushing weights and eating multiple meals a day calis crew. The fewer nikkas I have to fight for the squat rack, the better.
:unimpressed:

Plenty of bodybuilders are not proportional and I think you know this. I said fighter would wash the average bodybuilder.

Anyway many people can achieve great physiques with body weight training.

I dont get this argument.

Fighters train to fight, bb train to bodybuild. Youre literally comparing apples and oranges as far as goals.

Neither excludes one from the other either. People love bringing up Tyson like he isnt a genetic outlier/anomaly. In the same breath they ignore Anthony Joshua who is a champion and 100% employs weights.

I love calis. Most people serious about their fitness does both. The problem arises when people go one is better than another, post dudes on obvious juice from either side as proof or come with unfounded goofy bro science. Then things get dumb.

nikkas posting Kali fukking Muscle as proof of the wonders of doing 100 pushups a day :dead: next yall will tell me Simeon Panda natural :dead:

You can go to the first dudes page and at a cursory glance see he both goes to the gym and uses weights :dead: come on breh.

Using 99% of IG people as barometers is dumb because they peddling their wares (themselves) its hard to belive any thing they say especially if they look sus. Chris Heria touts calis and still is honest enough to say the best way to build strong legs is back squat and uses them. If the page isnt objective and is on some this is the best and only way avoid because they charlatans

What I’m saying is that both have their place. But in Some area body weight exercises are superior. Even in bodyweight routines have included in them Pull-ups, Dips and core exercises.

MOST DONT! Not heavy weights and they even go light on the lightweights.

where is Joe Louis’s weight routine?
Larry Holmes, vlad Klitschko, Muhammad Ali? The game most of the muscle still doing bodyweight training hitting heavy bags and sparring. Are they strong as a power lifter know but that doesn’t mean they wouldn’t wash the floor with your average power lift a bodybuilder.

The same Vlad who lost to Joshua with his :shaq2: results?

That’s cherry picking breh. Talk to ANY fight trainer and they will warn you about lifting weights? Are SOME exercises weighted YES! They are usually low weights at very high reps.

Even if its light work thats still lifting weights though which you said fighters dont do:hamster:

Thank you,

Calisthenics is this new age thinking much like veganism, CrossFit and other new age nonsense. Nothing gets you jacked, builds muscle, makes you as strong as high rep weight lifting. With strict form and time under tension training not only will you have bigger muscles, you will also have better CNS response time, more anaerobic and more strength. It is a training system they cannot be beaten in the athletic aspect and arena. The “only issue” with weight training is you train muscle for short explosive movement thus you lose some aerobic capability. But who cares, humans were designed to be lean muscular cheetah built like creatures. Sometimes the answer is so simple but humans always want to complicate things. Ramp up the protein and fat and get under that bar.

If you never felt a real bodybuilding/high rep pump, you never have lived life :ahh:

Breh.. :wow:

Get a group of 4 guys and rep out..

Rep out until your muscles feel like noodles and you're having difficulty lifting 20 lbs.. :pachaha:

You cannot consistently get deep cuts without free weights..

That’s false man. You get those cuts by overloading the muscle and dieting. Not only that but the dude that could do 75 straight push-ups with correct form can get up and still punch you in your face while your arms be too sore to put somebody for the next four days.
