I just started back going to the gym and I agree moment drills are great imoIt's more so the whole act of it. I really don't care about how much I can move heavy objects. I been lifting weights on and off since I was 15. I'm just kinda over it.
Calisthenics is a lot more fun and challenging. Testing your balance, resistance and strength... Upside down pushups, horizontal pushups, swinging around poles (pause), and just being overall leaner and lighter. Idk, I just find calisthenics way more appealing, useful and beneficial.
