War has rendered me completely insane
War is Insane...
I Honestly miss being in Iraq #insane
its a shame what we did out there ... to those poor people...
....
He was a POW, I can respect that. But he was a damn fighter pilot, he's not seeing shyt up close and personal. Colin Powell and Chuck Hagel on the other hand are a different story. That's why it bothers me so much that Colin Powell, a childhood idol of mine (I was a military brat), went along with President Bush before the Iraq invasion, even though he backtracked later. I am also disappointed in SecDef Hagel for doing the same with President Obama.
is this dude Novelthug???you always write so much, without saying anything at all.

i know this to be true, but part of me has to wonder....is it? Not in just this case but really is it? As a species haven't we come far enough to where we should be able to stop killing eachother over some bullshyt?War is necessary such as catastrophes/natural disasters
I learned that from one of my economics teacher in HS
Uh huh. War is awful. But the current Syrian military doesn't mind using chemical munitions on their targets that are populated with adults and children. That requires military intervention rather than turning a blind eye, IMO. Syria is pushing the envelope. As the war in Syria (or conflicts around the world) continue, realize that even military acts or interventions you deem noble or necessary are bound to incur further casualties of children. Take that into consideration always. It's hard to lose sight of that, and I'm the first one to admit that sometimes I do.
Just my two cents.

You're exactly why this thread was made. You dismiss it with a few words as if you're describing the color of the sky.
So when are you enlisting/getting commissioned and joining the infantry to go help those adults and children out yourself?
I'm pretty sure he served in Iraq

1. U.S. used Agent Orange( Chemical Weapon) in Vietnam, Laos and Thailand
2. U.S. gave Iraq chemical weapons....killed hundred of thousands....
3. U.S. bombed Fullejah with Chemical Weapons in Iraq 2004
4. Israel used White Phosphorus( Chemical Weapon) in Operation Cast Lead in 2009.
I'm pretty sure he was probably a POG.
Serving in Iraq does not mean being in combat. It's just something POGs say.
Out there praying for a mortar strike to hit the base so they get a combat action ribbon.
