This thread is a sobering look for all the cowards screaming for Obama to drop them thangs on Assad but wouldnt sign up to go fight. This whole Syria thing reeks of contractors up to no good trying stir up some shyt so they can get more sales. It's truly sickening.
If I may, what was the worst thing you saw while deployed OP
Man, I've seen some much shyt that I couldn't really process it until much later. The worst involved children, but not just the deaths though. What keeps me up at night sometimes is just remembering the look on their faces. Seeing some of those young kids just look at you, not with hatred or admiration of any sort, but confusion and sadness. It's like they were looking for answers and there is no answer that could ever suffice. That bothers me more than anything else.
I could write forever about some of the things I witnessed or was part of, but it's common for a lot of people in the infantry, especially the Marine Corps infantry in the Sunni Triangle from about early 2004 to late 2006. A lot of urban warfare at that place and time.
