I was talking with some dude who went over to serve. This sociopathic muthafukka said..."you ever play call of duty, its just like that" but he was explainning it like I was supposed to be impressed with the fact that they were shooting people down like a video game.

I think some people have compassion and even though they are responsible for taking lives, have remorse (like the OP)

and I think some people enjoy the fact that they got a pass to catch bodies and not get jail time or anything for it. I posted a video of a interview of a drone operator who was responsible for thousands of deaths and he seemed proud of his list of bodies even though he was talking about how he regrets doing it.

Video is Safe For Work (No Graphic Images)

This is Earth.... nobody really gives a fukk... when they are in the situation. My boy blew the head of a lil girl when we were there. He always seemed like a nice guy to me... realistically, this is just what it is.

Ok.

I'm too old to enlist. But just to add, it doesn't look like you are doing anything more than me to help them out.
you could have enlisted when you were younger. ... it should be against the law to be pro war pro military intervention and not be in public service or the military. I remember watching that 1 movie with war against bugs n shyt- only people who joined the military were even considered citizens.

shame on thee for wanting to be protected by thy government pleb!

that movie and line specifically was part of a psych op to draw up recruitment numbers prior to 9/11, apparently it worked.

Times are rough and I got a kid. If I were to join the AF as a reserve for financial reasons, would I end up overseas?

I'm clueless brehs. My frat brother is AF and was deployed to twice (Iraq, Afghanistan). The economy is shyt. It's like they're herding people into service out of desperation

Join............ The Air National guard instead. both guard and reserve have a chance at going...... But the reserves are feds like the active force. I know w active we has no choice and the rules w BS - like time in between deployments, stop loss.. all sorts of BS... That cannot happen if you're a resource of the state.

Also, if u do it. Do not pick anything w the planes, working on planes, munitions, and Most importantly not security forces.
Make sure u study for ASVAB so that u can get a score that gives u options.

save all ur money from basic and tech school. work towards getting a AGR spot - so u can get money, plus now they have it were that time can get u the post 911.
