Only QB to throw for 450 back to back weeks. But please gumbo sippa keep talking like it couldn’t happen
full
It would be a Panthers fan hyping up a Bucs QB :russ:

NFC South really want the Saints to go Patriots on the division

"Look how hard the Falcons playing for DQ!"
"Jameis REALLY ready to make that leap next year...for real this time!"
"Cam gonna be so healthy and ready to roar next year"

Flash forward to next year and all 3 fanbases praying "Saints gonna get they hearts broken in January at least doe :sadcam:" Like clockwork.

it’s all there.

While Green Bay does give up a lot of yards this year (ranked 23rd), they are great at stopping teams from scoring (9th best overall).

Oh, so those are points allowed rankings instead of YPG rankings.

In that case, well done.

:ehh:

:ehh:

Most of them are overall yards/points based, but some are points based due to the differential being further apart (example: when a team gives up a ton of yards, but shuts them down when it counts and don’t allow many points. This year’s Green Bay team for example gives up a lot of yards, but delivers in the clutch and don’t give up many points)

Only a handful of years are like that. the vast majority are overall based with the points and yardage being very similar.

Manning and Brady have always had the luxury of good defenses behind them. Brees has only had a good defense 4 out of 19 season.

it's much easier to perform when you have a solid defense behind you and don't have to stress over having to put up 40 points every single game just to have a chance. Brees has to deal with that shyt for the vast majority of his career.

TYRONE GA!
:mjlol:

Breh packers D has had historically bad defenses. They managed to have the WORSE AVG POINTS ALLOWED in the playoffs in the history of the NFL. Since Rodgers has been QB, they have allowed an AVG of 33 ppg.

get way the fukk up outta here with that nonsense...Better defenses :mjlol:

That's impossible. I need receipts

Lol Peyton defenses was not really good. They legit was only good when you had a lead and couple stop the run :russ:

:yeshrug: Good thing Peyton got them the lead a lot so it worked. But if they was down and you committed to the run they was food and you could keep Peyton off the ball

Revisionist history all over this thread...

Nobody who watched Manning's Colts ever thought he had a great defense lmao...

Brees unfortunately had all his MVP-like years overshadowed by even more impressive ones by other players. That's why he's never won an MVP

2006: Led the downtrodden Saints to the NFC Championship. Same year that LT averaged over 110 yards per game and 28 TDs as he led the Chargers to a 14-2 record

2009: Saints start 13-0 and win the Super Bowl. However Peyton Manning and the Colts start the season 14-0 and only lose when the starters are pulled, whereas the Saints lost straight up to the Cowboys that year

2011: Brees throws for 46 TDs and breaks the passing yardage record, but is overshadowed by Aaron Rodgers who led the Packers to a 15-1 record and sets the passer rating record

2018: At age 39 helps the Saints to the #1 seed in the NFC. Just so happens to be the same year that Mahomes throws for 5000 yards and 50 TDs as the Chiefs also grab the #1 seed in the AFC

He could've easily won MVP in any of these years if there wasn't extraordinary seasons from other players

Did the Good Lord's work for me, all this times 1000...

Anybody who thinks Brees not having an MVP says more about them and their football knowledge than they mean to reveal...

You're stretching it by saying Manning always had a good defense especially with the Colts.

Only reason they looked descent was because Manning would always jump on teams early with a big lead forcing opponents to get predictable. Look what happened to that D when Peyton sat out a season
