The correct answer to the best skyline is NYC. Nothing compares to it.
And I speaking as someone from NJ.

Sky lines are overrated. If u work or live in 1 of them buildings u know how shytty it is waiting for am elevator and all the other stupid stuff that goes with it. Places where they got no land should build them. Places like texas....sky scrapers are so unnecessary.

Lived in Houston my entire life and have visited cities spanning the entire globe, ours is bottom tier if you’re seeking for “pretty to look at, but it’s god tier for cost of living :umad:

I’ve got 4300sqft with my backyard being a literal golf course for $450k :heh:

Take my house and put it in any other major city it would cost multimillions.
What's your address breh.
And do you have security cameras?

To be fair Texas and the South aren’t really ideal for big city formats as they’re basically sprawling masses of land that cities are randomly plopped in pretty far from coastlines. By comparison, the major cities that feel and look like them all pretty much overlook coasts or are coast-adjacent so it’s a lot more scenic.

Houston the 4th biggest city in America and is on track to pass Chicago and become the 3rd biggest....

This is the Houston skyline :patrice:

Compare it to Chicago's skyline :wow:

I don't care how big Houston gets......it will never be a big city like Chicago, LA or NYC
Take a stylized photo and compare it to one that isn't....... you can criticize but don't exaggerate breh........if we really want to make comparisons about what's what you forgetting somethings........conveniently at that........

I am a recent Texas transplant (Austin).

The major cities are just concrete. Massive highways. I was in Ft. Worth this weekend. That place is a fukking dump and is just highways.

Also, DFW is a nightmare airport that is somehow a bunch of highways.

Austin is pretty cool though.

Never been to NYC but Chicago's skyline is just :whew: I can't wait to go back.

Sleeper pick is Pittsburgh. Coming out of the tunnel from the west and seeing the city and all the bridges is a sight.

At 665 square miles, the City of Houston is larger than the cities of Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, Phoenix and San Diego.

Urban sprawl sucks
Most of the big Texas cities are just sprawling. They annexed all land around it and made it massive messes. And they topped it off by making them all highways that happen to have people in them.

Houston is my hometown and it's straight up cheeks. It's not in the same category as LA, Chicago, or NYC. I've lived in NYC and it's like night and day.

Imagine you're driving on Highway US 59 and see this ugly ass eyesore :scust:

Cheeks. Grey as far as the eye can see. Our only real destination is inside the loop and the best thing to do here is go to the Galleria Mall or eat food. Trash. They closed down Astro World too.

Witness the power of 0% State Tax :gladbron:

As a Floridian.......

Jacksonville :hhh:

And yes it is big enough to fit Orlando,Miami,Tampa, and Ft.Lauderdale,San Francisco within its city boundaries. If you ever have the displeasure of going to what it calls a downtown try not to laugh
I used to get it in Aqua and that little beach strip was a vibe in 2010:wow:

Should I go to Pittsburgh to watch a Pirates game this year?
