Insane.......... that is the word for this SVS PB16-Ultra. ABSOLUTELY INSANE!!!! Picked up one today, the amount of bass that comes out of that beast is ridiculous. Not only that, it is mammoth in size. You could literally put this at the end of the couch for a table. The sheer size of it alone is just jaw dropping, the gloss finish is beautiful. The bluetooth app is perfect, all kinds of adjustments. This is by far the largest sub I have ever owned. 175lbs. On the screen is Batman VS Superman, when he fires the gun, I can literally feel it in my chest and the couch, not to mention all the other low frequency stuff happening at the time courtesy of Hans Zimmer. Music just floats on by with "I'm here!" bassline. There is a little bit of sheer terror in thinking about turning it up, I think it might crack my walls. I am literally insane enough to buy a 2nd one and place it diagonally in the other corner, I already told the owner of the store where I got it that I'll be back for #2.

Starting on the rec room now. Formerly the kids play room but since they are older, my wife and I are converting it. When we got the house, it was a cool mint like green and the flooring was unfinished. We've painted it almond in the spring. Looking at an exercise bike, foosball table with one or two more things to round it all out.

We got flooring coming in a week or so. New windows for the room in June. We going to Disney in Florida in July so wife isn't going to let me run through the rest of all of this. I'm tentatively placing an ETA by end of year for completion.

I'll have all the before and after pics to show the progress.

I definitely will, currently running through my entire movie collection. Hearing and feeling bass I didn't know existed.

Breh, I'm just checking off the equipment bucket list, 2nd one soon enough. Was watching Godzilla yesterday I literally jumped on the couch when that 1st heavy bass note hit. The avr hasn't been up past -19, and this thing is loud and forceful, I don't dare hit 0 reference level with it. I just ordered a calibration mic to use with REW software to get it dialed in.

A few changes, got rid of the tv stand, bought an A/V rack, angled risers for the center, raceway channels to clean up the wiring below the screen. Couch is next to go, movie theater chairs incoming along with 2nd PB16-Ultra.

but my shyt ain't fancy. I got a 4k samsung something that I cannot remember. apple tv 4k, LG sound bar, PS4, PS5 with 2TB external, and new macbook pro. PS5 is hidden behind the TV tho.

I moved my PS5 upstairs and got a 65" samsung mounted since the last post. just got a new couch, so I'm primarily gaming and consuming media upstairs in the front room these days.

Old faithful is leaving. Meaning the couch, Most comfy thing I've ever had. It's just old and in need of replacement.

Getting this and converting to a roll out sleeper. Mattress size is a queen size Got tons of nieces and nephews and they be wanting to spend the night. Last time, we had people on the various air mattresses in the living room. Going to lessen the burden of that in the future with this. Damn thing will be shipped in 3-4 months though. I'm not getting the pillows.

I JUST replaced my old couch today. new one is a massive improvement in comfort and looks much better obviously.

Breh that Netgear Wi-Fi router is looking questionable. Looks like an old WNR2000.

Just put in the in wall and ceiling channels. Acoustically transparent screen arrives Xmas Eve. Just need to save up a little for the $2k I’ll need for the last 3 most expensive in wall LCR’s and the alpha build will be done.

Star ceiling will finish out the room then it’s just cosmetics, sound treatments, insulation, and a little paint on the trim, doors, and maybe go to black carpet.

You can kind of see my rack mounted setup and my jvc 56u, excuse the old Benq that was the first projector I used just to get the room in use since we’ve only been here 10 months


Just recently finished the digital scrolling marquee, just have to build the frame for it but it swings horizontally so we can use it as a play room tv.
