My Mavic Pro came in a day earlier than expected. 
I went ahead and got DJI Care Refresh and put that thing in the sky as soon as the batteries were charged.
Had a blast flying around my neighborhood for a bit.
I didn't realize the app puts together a quick montage of what you shot automatically.
It was pretty cool.

Heading back to the motherland next month will fly it over our farn
AirMap and the FAA have finally gotten their crap together and are allowing flights in restricted space to be instantly approved under 200ft.
We tested it out last week and it works. You just have to confirm your name,address, and phone number and they send you a text with approval for flight and what your ceiling is.

BROOOO!!! I interned with a drone firm that used drones for commercial applications such as this.
Remote sensing + agribusiness will be huge.

i fly mine all day in BK. even flew it in various places in manhattan. Most of midtown DJI drones wont even let you take off because of trump tower but other than that ive gotten hours of flight inLooks Fun But I Live In NYC, That Won't Fly Here (Literally)
