Can someone explain the Super Two rules for arbitration? Right now, Skubal is set to be a free agent in 2027 but he's gonna be a Super Two player. Does that bump one year of arbitration off his service time and make him a free agent in 2026?

I could be wrong, but I think he won't be a free Agent until 2027. With the Super 2 designation I believe he goes through arbitration earlier than what would be considered his full 3 years of service time.

As an O's fan the fact the Angelos put themselves in a bidding war against no one to overpay Chris Davis and then to watch him fall completely apart was so painful.
