Brooklyn Bridegrooms and used several other monikers before finally settling on the name Dodgers in 1932.[5][6][7] From the 1940s through the mid-1950s, the Dodgers developed a fierce crosstown rivalry with the New York Yankees as the two clubs faced each other in the World Series seven times, with the Dodgers losing the first five matchups before defeating them to win the franchise's first title in 1955. It was also during this period that the Dodgers made history by breaking the baseball color line in 1947 with the debut of Jackie Robinson, the first African American to play in the Major Leagues since 1884.Yankees.... Dodgers, like they was byke in Brooklyn
both are easily HOFers lolBtw I'm not in love with Arenado's case for the HOF.
Good bat. Great glove.
Coors kinda takes some of the shine off his offensive numbers for me, even if it's not the giant advantage it used to be.
The thing is, 3B has been such a weak position historically that you kinda have to put him in by comparison to other 3B even if Arenado was never really in that elite tier of hitters in his era. At least it didn't feel like it. I know he's got all those .900 OPS years.
You can't think Scott Rolen belongs and turn around and say Arenado doesn't.
Edit - I'm not in love with Machado either. But if he sticks around he might hit enough milestones to make his case better.
Being elected and being truly elite are different things.both are easily HOFers lol
