Freddie Freeman has compiled 60.6 fWAR so far in his career. That's 27th all time for 1B.

10 more fWAR puts him 12th just behind Eddie Murray and ahead of Rafael Palmeiro.

Something to consider as he gets into his late 30s.

Can he get to 3000 hits is the question

Almost definitely.

He should end the season around 2270 hits, give or take.

That puts him 730-ish hits away.

He's got 3 more seasons with the Dodgers. Then he's a free agent at age 38.

If he finds somewhere that he can DH, he's gonna get there.

By the time he's done in LA, he could have something like 2700 hits. Granted, maybe the PEDs era has warped our minds about what kind of production old MLB players can provide, but if Freeman wants 3,000, I think he will get it.

Can he get to 500 HR?
That I'm doubtful about.

Edit - I'm old and I forgot he could DH on the Dodgers. Lol, I still think of that as an AL thing.

I want to see a tight schedule for MLB playoffs.

I don't like all these off days where teams can just use their 1 and 2 starters twice to win a series.

You shouldn't be allowed to hide your #3-5 guys.
It's bullshyt. Imagine if instead of 9 hitters, you could just bat Soto and Judge every other at bat? That's the hitting equivalent of starting Aaron Nola and Zach Wheeler or whatever.

Play the games every goddamn day, even in the playoffs.

Theo still overpaid for bum ass Quintana :martin: gave up cease & eloy. Cease is an ace Jimenez an injury prone flop
