they used to do them after the season was over and if you check some of the lineups, USA used to pull up with all-star teams. The last time they did wasn't that long ago and they had a couple of heavy hitters but the pitching wasn't great.As an Exhibition/Spring Training Showcase sure. I'm cool with an all star tour after the season. I'm cool with teams traveling to play NPB teams as part of Spring Training. I'm cool with MLB having their teams play each other in marquee Japanese stadiums. The 2025 MLB season begins on Tuesday, March 18 and Wednesday, March 19 with the Dodgers and Cubs playing in Tokyo, Japan as part of “2025 MLB World Tour: Tokyo Series,” presented by Guggenheim.
Both games will be broadcast live from the Tokyo Dome on FOX/FS1 at 6 a.m. ET (7 p.m. in Japan).
