Baseball popularity is just weird

All the smoke got a Barry Bonds interview. Barry rarely do interviews. They also got a Vernon Maxwell interview. Vernon ep got 5x the views. I know Vernon is entertaining but this is the best baseball player ever with a full uncensored interview
The Mad Max episode went viral because he's always saying wild shyt. Bonds didn't say anything controversial.

Now, if he'da pulled an NBA routine and said he'd hit 85 HRs today and Ohtani would be Bobby Higginson status in the 90s/00s, the episode would have blown up.

But he did though lol

He said Othani wouldn’t be able Hit 2 homers without a ball thrown at His head and he knee would be dislocated stealing two bases in his era lol

I just looked it up and that bullshyt Bonds was saying was ridiculous. :dead:

He also basically wore armor on his right arm so he wouldn't even feel HBPs (which I think more players should do).

Ohtani doesn't do any over the top shyt when he goes yard. Bonds took his sweet time going around the bases himself and definitely did some preening/admiring when he played.

Not predicting a breakout but I won't be surprised if one of the following players elevates their game in 2025:

Brandon Pfaadt
Hunter Brown
MacKenzie Gore

And to a lesser extent, Bailey Ober.
I like Ober more than Gore, but he's older and his ceiling probably isn't as high.
Well,

Pfaadt, Gore and Brown have gotten off to good starts early on.
But it's still VERY early.

I'm curious to see how the season plays out for these guys.

Based on some preseason stuff, I would be highly interested in Casey Mize, and low key (but very very very low key) I wonder if there's a little breakout from Kyle Freeland out in Colorado.

I would think Texas and Houston would want to stay in the same division so that’s why it likely be easier just to move either Detroit or Cleveland to the AL East.
Yeah the league isn’t going to break up the rivalry that’s been going on for damn near 10 years now of being in the same division with down to the wire finishes each season. They could shift KC to the west, Cleveland to the East which opens up both Texas teams to be in Central (where we fkn belong :comeon: )
