It was a joke!
When are people gonna use this? Shell out thousands for a projector that does everything your phone, tablet, smart tv, etc. w/ a good pair of headphones can do, brehs :dead:

Two hours with an external battery too? Pfft

Why does Apple keep getting away with this :mjlol:
Because apple users are retarded

Look, you buy a VR headset, you will eventually check out VR porn. When you go to the sites with the videos, they show you all the possibilities. I've never used any of that stuff, but there's a large cottage industry catered to dudes getting the most out of VR Porn.

Pro Tip: Women loooooooove VR Porn

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Bet you thought the same shyt when iPad and apple watch came out :umad:
No I didn't.. They actually had innovation and a need in the market

I'll say again.. IT'S THE HEADSETS!! It's always something clunky. Nobody is sitting for 8 hours a day at work with this shyt on. People barely want to game for an hour with them on and that's something FUN. You're got this big ass, sweaty ass, hot ass helmet shyt on. Constantly adjusting. Having to pull it off and on and off and on throughout a session. People coming up to interrupt you. I haven't even gotten to the price point..

This will not be moving like iPads or iWatches.. This will be a niche market and my job, your job and 90% of companies won't be springing for them. THIS version you probably won't even know anyone who has one. Maybe it changes in the next few gens. But Gen1.. I highly doubt this moves crazy units

bytch acting like she packing clothes and just wearing this shyt around while she do it, waiting for a facetime call.. The other person can't even see your face :mjlol:

This is pure nonsense

The Truth
I’m guessing y’all haven’t watched the official video

Very groundbreaking tech

Groundbreaking OS

No controllers is groundbreaking (except to game)

Probably worth the 3.5k pricetag when you see what all it can do

But lets be realistic, it will not sell for this price. People are losing jobs, prices of food and gas are crazy, insurance going up, everything going up.

It will go to fanatics or people who really have that money to blow, but will not sell for adults at that price. Not for something that bulky with a shytty battery life

Wasn’t impressed with apples showing, after watching a few different videos today I can say that thing really is impressive and groundbreaking. At this point it’s 100% a waste of money for me but it’s still dope nonetheless.

Only fans sluts bussin it wiiiide open in my bedroom :noah:

Other than porn this looks like a waste of money.

I had the first iPhone, I won’t be getting the first vision headset, that external battery looks goofy as fk and for $3500 I’m not being chained to a wall outlet :beli:

Luckily I have a theater room so that will easily get me by for the next 5-10 years before this tech is much better.

You see how they’re marketing this by only showing mostly front/rear shots and not how bulky and far off the face this device sits which brings fatigue after wearing something this large will be.

ONE DROP AND

What's the use case for this?:jbhmm:

No one's going to throw a heavy ass helmet on to browse the web or look at photos. I don't see people throwing this on during flights when it's not going to be comfortable to wear for an extended time. Then you got the cable connected to the power pack which looks like it's a hassle to use in a cramped space. Nevermind looking like a sci-fi idiot around a bunch of strangers.

Gaming might make sense but if cheaper VR devices that are dedicated to gaming aren't mainstream a $3500 device isn't changing that. Does Apple even have a gaming platform to integrate this with?

The movie experience isn't worth the price tag and the battery won't last enough for the run time so you're going to have to be plugged in. Are studios going to devote resources to developing the content like they showed in the Disney+ demo?

I'm sure the Apple Hypebeasts will cop first day to flex but it'll be collecting dust in two weeks. There's some great tech here but this is better off being a smaller developmental project until the tech advances enough to make the headset smaller. Once you get over the initial wow factor you need something to keep you coming back and I don't see what that is.
