They were in the country for 20yrs, spent trillions of dollars and didn’t spend time building institutions, the police, army etc? A few weeks after they leave and the country falls apart to the Taliban?:mjtf:

The fukk were they doing there for 20yrs. That’s more than enough time to build a functioning state

This is like assuming a security guard with 20 years of experience didnt have training. Just because he runs when bank robbers finally show up:mjlol:. You ever realized your not going to like doing a certain job,but you stayed for the 2 week training anyway? Because it was easy and you got paid? Well, thats what they did for 20 years:wow:.

America assumes money and "patriotism" is the ultimate motivator for everyone. shyt, majority of the people in the army signed up thinking theyll never have to actually see combat. Or they just going for the money. But you think if they knew jail time wasnt possible, that they would actually go to a war when called? These Afghans know you not about to track them down for abandoning their position lol.

Ask the women if you wanna play this game.

Its cool though.

Yall about to learn. Theres levels to this shyt.

America > Afghanistan. You'll figure it out.
Who here is arguing this? You write like a pubescent cracker who does not understand the full scale of situation. The women are in a shyt condition regardless, I am sure the group of former warlords propped up by US were much better for them. Humanitarian rights also go beyond women. When Trump bombed 30 random farmers last year by accident, I am sure the whole community was grateful and totally not war crime. Go back to posting tweets

I spent a year there.
In the border provinces I witnessed a woman stoned to death...because she was raped.
See for yourself if you want.

That article mentions nothing of a rape taking place. They ran away from home to be married. They were accused of having premarital sex. She was stoned to death and the guy was lashed.

fukked up situation. Such is life...

The Diaspora
That’s a simplistic way to look at things. With that logic, the Nazis had support in Germany and Kim Jong Un and his family has support in North Korea. The people there are scared of getting killed so they accept a new way of life hoping they’ll get to live. Nothing more, nothing less.

The Taliban does have widespread support there that’s undeniable . You don’t go into hiding for a decade then pop back up at full strength making these type of moves if you weren’t held down and supported all this time . The Taliban has support in the tribal regions. The Taliban has support in the Pashtun areas of Pakistan and their intelligence agency .

The simplistic view is Taliban = bad and the ANA = good in the eyes of Afghans

People try to tug at American heartstrings by bringing up how the Taliban are bad for Afghan women and their education which is true . However what they leave out is the same Afghan National Army Americans are training are the same men who go around committing sexual assaults on young boys and have been doing it for decades …and it only slowed when the Taliban showed up
And took power

People say the Taliban are animals for chopping off the hands of thieves …ignoring they fact that
The ANA will purposefully look away from those that commit crimes for a simple payoff .

The way we view things over here isn’t how the people view things over there . Nothing is black and white . Everything is gray over there .

Also Hitler and the Nazis did have support in Germany :dwillhuh:
