Another thread based on faulty premise...

Bron won his 4 in a 9-year window on some dynasty shyt, and won all 4 as his team's best player. We know that this is what really matters, because Hondo has 8 rings but we don't consider him Top 10...

It's annoying that nikkas go dumb like we don't all recognize that how many you win as the best player doesn't matter. Pippen has 6 and we don't consider him Top 10. We all understand that how many you win as The Guy is imperative...

Bron was in Y17 when he won #4. Steph is in Y14 and has 2 as That Guy, by comparison, Bron had 3 thru Y14 (2017). Steph could add #3 this season, Bron could also add #5...

And to be clear, having two rings as a #1 is a LOT. The NBA is 77 years old and only 16 players have won MULTIPLE championships as a #1:

(8) Bill

(6) Mike

(5) Mikan

(4) LeBron, Duncan

(3) Kareem, Magic, Bird, Shaq

(2) Wilt, Kobe, KD, Hakeem, Steph, Zeke, Cowens

That's it. Only 16 men thru 76 complete seasons. So this isn't a, Steph "only" has two as a #1 post. Two as a #1 is historic, having two as a #1 are what elevate him as elite even among All-Timers...

But it's two in comparison to a guy who has double that. Muhfukkas need to stop playing stupid...
Steph got 4 as that guy... KD putting up better scoring numbers for the finals series doesn't automatically mean he was the guy... that team still ran through Curry, and is validated by how he got 2 without KD while KD has none without Steph

last year showed that

Bill Russell has 11 Rings
Sam Jones has 10 Rings
John Havlicek has 8 Rings
Bob Cousy has 6 Rings

Why don't you include them in Mount Rushmore when they have more rings than the "immortal" players you listed?

Probably because there were literally like 9 teams back then

Why don't you realize how nonsense it is to count the same titles twice for two different GOAT cases? You're not even the best player on your own team, but somehow due to that accomplishment you the best player ever?

And you saying that Kobe's GOAT case over LeBron is based on his 15-3-3 on 37% shooting in the 2000 Finals when he was barely the 4th best player on the court. :mjlol:

smh at leaving Shaq off when he won MVP for most of Kobe's titles.

BRO U DONT LIKE KOBE AND LOVE LEBRON

WE GET IT

I ALREADY ADDRESSED YOUR NONSENSE EARLIER IN THIS THREAD

THE 2000 TITLE WAS WON VS PORTLAND, PARTICULARLY IN THAT GAME 7, WHICH KOBE PLAYED MUCH BETTER THAN SHAQ IN

BUT U ALREADY KNEW THAT

Kobe played with Shaq for a decade when Shaq was the best player in the world

Bron played with Wade for two years before Wade's knees gave out, played with Kyrie when Kyrie was just a kid and is the only player in the league that has won anything of value with Kyrie (Kyrie has played with Tatum, Harden, KD, and Luka since playing with Bron and has only made it out the first round once but ya'll act like Kyrie is a legend since Bron won with him :dead:) and he played with AD when he was in his late 30s and injury prone.

Kobe wouldn't have won shyt in any of those circumstances.

You're a clown.

I don't care about none of your excuses. LeBron played with Wade, then played with Kyrie, then played with Anthony Davis. That's 13 years of having one superstar after another. Kobe played with Shaq for 8 years and he was on the bench for the first two of those years. Foh fakkit :camby:

Steph was blessed with a great GM in his early years. Golden State put together some really good teams. Bron was taking Anthony Parker and Jamario Moon to the finals.

One has double the league MVP than the other and more than double Finals MVP as well, and one literally has scored the most points in nba history, literally no comparison , they aren't peers and no where equals to anyone not a bron hating sycophant but this is the coliseum where up is down

Steph was drafted into a much better situation, stupid ass thread.

I do remember a young Bron carrying a bunch of substitute teachers to the finals though :wow:

:mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:The Warriors were the sorriest franchise in the NBA when they drafted Curry. Second longest playoff drought ever behind the Clippers at the time... and if wasn't for that miracle year when they upset the Mavs they would've been competing with them and the Kings up until this year for longest missed playoffs streak in the history of US sports. :picard:

You're a dumbass and you have proven that time and time again. You don't even know how to count :mjlol: Lebron played 4 seasons with Wade, 3 seasons with Kyrie, and is in his 4th season with AD. That's 10 full seasons. When you consider the context of those years (Kyrie missing most of the 2015 playoffs and AD playing less than 40 games in consecutive seasons) it's even less than that.

Only an idiot would compare playing with a young Kyrie to playing multiple seasons with PRIME Shaq.

2011 to 2023 is 13 years dumbass. Fail basic math.

That's the Heat years, Cavs years and the Lakers years.

You lucky I can't neg :camby:

Nah I'm not allowing that. What you're doing is the same shyt Kobe heads do, using the fact that Kobe won twice without Shaq to reinvent the real time sentiment of when Kobe and Shaq were together...

Shaq was not just the best player on the team in their run, he was arguably the best player on ball period, that's who Bean was playing with. We're not re-imagining the real time perspective just because Kobe later won two without Shaq, the years with Shaq still actually happened...

And we not reimagining the real time sentiment of the KD/Steph run just because Steph won twice without Durant. When they were together the prevailing sentiment was that Durant was the Warriors best player. I'm not with this revisionist shyt...
