Another thread based on faulty premise...

Bron won his 4 in a 9-year window on some dynasty shyt, and won all 4 as his team's best player. We know that this is what really matters, because Hondo has 8 rings but we don't consider him Top 10...

It's annoying that nikkas go dumb like we don't all recognize that how many you win as the best player doesn't matter. Pippen has 6 and we don't consider him Top 10. We all understand that how many you win as The Guy is imperative...

Bron was in Y17 when he won #4. Steph is in Y14 and has 2 as That Guy, by comparison, Bron had 3 thru Y14 (2017). Steph could add #3 this season, Bron could also add #5...

And to be clear, having two rings as a #1 is a LOT. The NBA is 77 years old and only 16 players have won MULTIPLE championships as a #1:

(8) Bill

(6) Mike

(5) Mikan

(4) LeBron, Duncan

(3) Kareem, Magic, Bird, Shaq

(2) Wilt, Kobe, KD, Hakeem, Steph, Zeke, Cowens

That's it. Only 16 men thru 76 complete seasons. So this isn't a, Steph "only" has two as a #1 post. Two as a #1 is historic, having two as a #1 are what elevate him as elite even among All-Timers...

But it's two in comparison to a guy who has double that. Muhfukkas need to stop playing stupid...

His career is gonna be interesting to analyze when he's done
Like when did he really dominate?

I always said once Bron retires, alot of people are gonna start evaluating him differently, just gonna be the hardcore Bron nuthuggers left. It's gonna be worse than the criticism Jordan received because at least Jordan has the storybook career to fall back on. Bron doesn't.

I'll give LeBron the Heat years. That was "his era". IMO, he should've stayed there and rebuilt. Riley would have gotten him pieces. Or stayed in Cleveland but, whatever.

And, Kobe was second fiddle for three of them. :mjlol:

Two as the man. I can count.

LeBron can't even get to .500 on his Finals record :mjlol:

And the Finals he did win, the NBA assembled the Dream Team for him to play with.

Kobe just got to play with Shaq....that's the one major superstar he got.

LeBron got Wade...then Kyrie...then Anthony Davis.

Lakers would have beat teams by 30 points if Kobe played with Wade or Kyrie :mjlol:

Kobe played with Shaq for a decade when Shaq was the best player in the world

Bron played with Wade for two years before Wade's knees gave out, played with Kyrie when Kyrie was just a kid and is the only player in the league that has won anything of value with Kyrie (Kyrie has played with Tatum, Harden, KD, and Luka since playing with Bron and has only made it out the first round once but ya'll act like Kyrie is a legend since Bron won with him :dead:) and he played with AD when he was in his late 30s and injury prone.

Kobe wouldn't have won shyt in any of those circumstances.

2010 to 2016/2017 at best :childplease:

2009 he won MVP in a landslide, averaged 35-9-7 on 51% in the playoffs, and put up nearly 40-8-8 on 50% and a game-winner in the ECF only to lose tight because everyone in his supporting cast got destroyed.

2018 he averaged 34-9-9 on 54% in the playoffs, hit two game-winners, won two Game 7s with amazing performances, set the record for most 40-point games in one postseason, and got to the Finals playing damn near one on five then put up an unprecedented 51-8-8 on 19-32 shooting in Game 1, outscoring KD by 30, only to lose anyway cause his teammates are trash.

There is zero debate about 2009-2018, he was the best player in the game. 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2020 are fair discussion too because you could easily say he was the most dominant looking player in each postseason.

FACTS

NO GOAT LEVEL PLAYER HAS LESS THAN 5

KOBE MJ MAGIC KAREEM

THE REAL MOUNR RUSHMORE

Why don't you realize how nonsense it is to count the same titles twice for two different GOAT cases? You're not even the best player on your own team, but somehow due to that accomplishment you the best player ever?

And you saying that Kobe's GOAT case over LeBron is based on his 15-3-3 on 37% shooting in the 2000 Finals when he was barely the 4th best player on the court. :mjlol:

smh at leaving Shaq off when he won MVP for most of Kobe's titles.
