I think people IRL (offline) like her more than they put on, but since then, it's been popular to act like you don't like her due to negative peer pressure optics (the “you're supposed to dislike her because of.....” shtick)...a lot of the disdain and negative assumptions and notions about her since 2020, especially within the last 4 years, have been exaggerated and seems to be a phenom online/social media.

As I've been saying weeks before she took over, I said that the Dems would've never dropped Biden if they weren't confident in her having a lot of support, it's not just about “anybody but Trump/anti-Trump” as to why people are supporting her in the upcoming election. These last few weeks have exposed the supposed myth that she's unlikeable by many, a lot of people have been shocked to see her support rising and her lead in polls.
