Man, my 2 year old lives with his mother in another state. This is my only child. It's tough and hurts not seeing him grow on a day to day basis. I have to go through the courts for my father rights. I vowed to my son and myself that I would try my best to make a way for him.

But is this really holding them accountable? Is this gonna stop Nick or Cam from impregnating someone? Is this gonna stop the next irresponsible man and woman from fukking raw? Is this starting a discussion of how to address the issue or more of the same us v them?

Unplanned, single parent kids are in every community. We have been pushed as the face and allow that to be. Go to any school, you will see single moms and grandmas/papas of every race.

Its been normalized throughout our culture. Nobody is teaching anybody anything, accept to shirk responsibility and blame others (not directed at you, speaking generally).

Plenty of men, with nowhere near Cam or Nicks resources are held accountable by child support. Plenty others are in their kids lives. Study after study shows that black men are the most involved fathers. We cant let propoganda and some rich nikkas with issues overshadow that.

Can we do better? Yes. Is Cam getting a viral moment gonna do anything to assist with that? I dont believe so.

From my understanding those studies show that BM are the most involved fathers when they live with their children. The problem is most don't live with all their children.
