That 80% stat is commonly used and is not even an accurate representation. It's either bad faith or not knowing how statistics work
54% of black men in this country are childless. 46% of black men are father's. Of that 46%, 80% had at least one child by the time they were 40. The remaining 20% had a child between 40-50. Again the majority of black men are CHILDLESS.
61% of black women are mothers, meaning the majority of them have children. Of that 61%, 37% were married when they had a child
Again this thing of trying to make Cam, Nick Cannon, Future, the face of all black men is bullshyt and the media working the way it's always worked regarding black men. The baby mama factories are a small number of men getting a large number of women pregnant. And like I said in my previous post this minority of men has become the face of ALL black men because it's so easy to blindly believe the worst about us, even amongst ourselves.
Again Cam has 8 kids. He wasn't raping these women. Baby mamas 2-8 made a decision. But every time that notion comes up the shaming tactics come out too

There are more men like the ones in your family than the media is representing, and a lot of those men don't want to get married. Why is that?
