If he didn't have a promise from a team why did he say there were teams he didn't want to play for?

It's pretty clear that while Shedeur should've never fallen to the fifth round, Deion and Shedeur clearly botched the pre-draft process in many ways.

Or a front office(s) gave them assurances and reneged.

Weurrful at Florida was the only one on this list that had a single year on the production of the level of Shadeur and their accolades were primarily driven by their team being incredible combined with a weak Heisman year in 1996.

NONE of them were considered top tier draft prospects. Don't lie in here to try to pretend like you're proving a point with those three. It literally says on Wuerrfel's Wikipedia that he was considered a marginal NFL prospect. None of them were ever considered first day guys.

Lmao Come man I am not the biggest Shaduer fan as a prospect and I think he is similar to Teddy Bridgewater but give shaduer a team similar to the Ken doresy Miami teams and Danny wuerful Florida teams with a offensive genius like Steve Spurrier and he is throwing for 50 + TDs ....shaduer had no oline and no running game and still had 37 tds with a 74 percent completion percentage with basically one nfl player on his team once again, I am not the biggest shaduer fan as a prospect but some of y'all got this weird hate against him
