Late as fukk that I'm seeing this but it's in production. Kitano never even planned for a single sequel but since the first Outrage was his first box office success in many years, he cashed in on it with the sequel to make up for the losses he suffered over the years before. It's basically his Pusher trilogy (Refn only made Pusher II and III because he went bankrupt following his first attempt to break through in America with Fear X).

This film was such a let down. I did like certain throw back elements like the shallow water fight, the guns from the briefcases, the spider tank, etc
But I was severely let down by the actual story it's self. It was so Hollywood. Fake deep. Seemed like a stupid Marvel plot line
Overall about 5.5/10 for me
