Who raising the kids? You're Dad can be a great person but still not recognize his gang banging son need to be put in some type of detention center or on meds for violent behavior. Like I always say when someone demonizes rap there is multiple types of rap and gangsta/drill rap was never meant to be consumed by children the music comes with an explicit label on it.

But really it just comes down to watching and monitoring the media your child consumes. People want to ignore it but Wiz Khalifa, Lil Wayne, Future, Mac Miller etc. are a big reason some adults now are drug addicts. Because they made the drugs seem cool at an age without the discernment. Good rappers but far too influential on the youth. Not everybody has good parents who will curb this stuff unfortunately.

And what happened to kids that made music for kids? Lil bow wow and Lil Romeo etc.? Used to be an avenue for kids rap music is that still around?

The label wouldn't carry weight if it was just entertainment. No one goes after Matt Damon for not being Jason Bourne, and if someone did, they would not be taken seriously.

I respect where you coming from

I know the music didn’t kill him literally but the music put him in that position because it’s glorified in certain aspects of the community. My brother just happened to be part of that community.

He died at the age that is considered an adult by the way he just happened to only listen trap/drill shyt growing up and did until his death so I can say it’s a contributing to the factor. My father did the best he could and we actually put him in a position to do better, we helped him move out of our state so he can get away to better himself. Where we sent him he died. As I said he was a grown man by now and it had nothing to do with my father parenting more so my brother knuckleheadness


And I refuse to accept those examples of artists listening to other artists. Even tho Melly is evil he’s musically inclined and talented so it’s not shocking he listens to Adele. But what’s that got to do with your typical dusty kid in the hood only listening to this type of music?
