How was your sleep the night prior?
How was your nutrition prior to the session?
How often do you train legs?
I slept good the night before. and i train legs hard once a week and light 4 days later. but i haven't been to the gym in about 2 weeks but my legs were feeling to that before i took a break.
and i had a protein shake with 3 scoops and 2 bowls of cinnamon toast crunch :russ: but that's not unusual for me to be real
I feel like that sometimes but I just go and do my cardio and they "wake up" and go back to normal. It sounds like tiredness tbh
i haven't worked them in a few weeks. i was gonna do em last week but i had the same issue but said fukk it and left

How do y'all feel about about BCAA's, like adding amino acid powder to your water to take during your workout?

Is it worth it?

the only time i see the point of supplementing with bcaa is if you're doing intermittent fasting.

Today's Story:

Chick walks past me after warming up on the treadmill. She had to be 5'1 105 with the damndest hips and bubble.

Chick proceeds to go on a marathon work out. I swear at one point she threw 185 on the bar for back squats. I mean she was doing all types of sets and reps. Pull-ups, box jumps, you name it. Around the two hour mark she starts deadlifting.

It gets better.....dude walks up to here and I'm thinking he was trying to help her clear the bar so he could start deadlifting. Nope, he asked to work in. In mind I'm like :francis:

Damn if he didn't get a convo going. I rolled out but he might have completed the pull.....

:salute:

Sometimes I wonder if training legs is worth it. Sore as fukk, no one cares about legs, and highest risk of injury.

Legs are important, just think about real life. You use your legs more than your arms, your legs carry all of your weight.

I always think about real life problems, 2 weeks ago I was driving and a older couple were stuck in the intersection because their pt cruiser stalled. I jumped out the car and pushed it out of the way.

When I pushed the car it was light and I was like thank god I train my legs. It felt like I was in a strong man competition lol.

I'm kind of done with squats because it is the only lift that has ever led to injuries for me (strained hip adductor twice)

I still like them and may go back to them in the future for fun, but for now I'm satisfied with focusing on walking lunges.

the only time i feel anything funny in the hip/pelvic area with squats is when I try to squat straight down rather than poke my ass out (pause)

Where are you doing it within your sequence of exercises?

i like the squat. but i cant go over 185 without my lower back bytching up. my legs dont even get taxed. the only injury i ever really got was from squatting also.

first leg exercises when i walk in the gym. i warm up, foam roll/stretch then go. but i been stuck and a week ass 185 for a minute.. benching more than you squat is semi embarrassing :russ:
