Considering that all three generations of men in my family follow basketball religiously, I'll never stop watching. My grandad still watches all 82 of his Celtics. I'm sure I'll be watching the Grizzlies till death

In my early 30s and i think basketball is a sport that easy to continue to follow since its star driven. Even when my team is wack i can still enjoy watching other teams just because i may like the players.

On the other hand, baseball is a sport im not watching unless im at the game or the Braves are doing well. Im just not going to watch a game otherwise.

I'll probably always pay attention. I think since I play pick up on the weekends, it keeps me interested in the league and the newer players

The NBA is the only thing i watch in regards to sports anymore.

Lebron James saved this league i don't know what it would be like without him.

The NBA was just more exciting when we were kids. More superstars, more personality, just down right entertaining.
Remember in the early 2000's the nba made a conscious effort to start catering to their white fan base. nba was too hip hop and the players had too much swag. thats when they started the dress code.. complaining about covering up tatoos etc... so a guy like dennis rodman couldnt exist in todays nba. If definintly hurt the fun and entertainment factor.

Turned 30 last month and I still love the game. I don't watch as many full games as I used too, but I watch alot of extended highlight packages.

I'm about to be 36 and sadly this thread hit home with me. There was a time where I would watch every national televised game going back to the NBC days, they felt like such big events. Lakers been my squad for life so I've always watched every single Lakers game dating back to the mid 80's. But I use to love to watch MJ's Bulls, Shaq on Orlando, Barkley on the Suns, etc... So many random talented squads I dug. I knew damn near full rosters from every team. Now I don't watch many NBA games at all. I'm just waiting for the playoffs to start. I will always be connected to the NBA as along as the Lakers are good & relevant though.

Now I Love the NFL week in and week out.

My pops is 55 and he still watches it. Most older black men i know seem to be into sports more than the young cats. Alot of the dudes that work under me at my job are 25 or so and they dont even watch sports. They more into instagram and reality shows.

My problem is that I couldn't give a shyt about the NBA teams on the bottom.

So I wait until the playoffs when the best basketball is being played, and watch that.

And, to be fair, the NBA is a MUCH better product live, so if I lived in an NBA city where I could catch 10-15 games a season, I'd probably care about the league more.

But with my schedule, its much easier to watch NFL, CFB, and EPL.....

I don't watch a ton of full games on tv until playoffs. Still find the Celtics entertaining and go to a few like e games every year.

I just don't have enough hours in the day to keep up with all 82 in person. I still check the box score and play fantasy and am in the know, but less involved.

i turn 30 this year and my interest is waning.

i enjoy reading about it more and listening podcasts at work or reading tweets from sports people than watching actual games

i did watch teh all-star weekend

but i don't watch all the weekly games like i used to.

i'd rather spend my time watching my movies and shows

i used to watch EVERY playoff game as a kid but having a job and relationship and my A.D.D getting worse.

i also only care during playoffs

i think the game is actually more faced paced and fun than when we were younger but lacksstars that have charisma/ star power and rivalries

I got more important shyt to worry about, honestly. I still watch games when I feel like it, though.
