You are taxed when you sell.

But essentially the stock would have no real world value without either selling or receiving dividends, which are both taxed.
My point is them nikkas should have to break a lot more bread on taxes, rather than putting a hard cap on wealth (not that you were arguing that).

Actually enforce a trickle down economy

Amazon went a whole 10 years since its inception without posting a profit. How you gonna compete with someone that can do that? The time to chill ol Jeff out was when the bookstores were getting their asses whooped.
Now dude can dangle a fulfilment center over a state have them acting like some hos for some jobs, providing him incentives and he not paying taxes either :wow:

shyts crazy :mjlol:

Let Amazon put out a false ass statement saying price of the bricks going up cause of them unions... watch opinions about that brother switch right the fukk up :sas2:

Na
what?

I'm a capitalist. I support the street vendor on the side of the road selling food & I support the business man with a chain of stores.

My line of work is sales.

I literally eat what I kill.
You're not killing anything
That phrase is so corny

There doesnt even need to be a cap. Return top marginal tax rates to where they were before Reagan got in and a whole buch of domino’s fall. Go back 40 years before that and suddenly infrastructure can be paid for, colleges will have oodles if state funding, etc. It would be damn near like the post war boom so long as the pay actually went to the people.
This. I've also thought tethering upper management's pay and bonuses to the pay of those "beneath" them is a good idea too(like a ceo shouldn't make more than ×100 what the lowest paid worker in the company does or something, ensuring the floor gets raised with the ceiling). I won't pretend I'm not closer to a socialist than a capitalist, and that I'm not little more than a layman when it comes to economics, but I don't see how this such extreme capitalism is preferable to anybody with anything more than a short term outlook on anything. A public with no purchasing power and a upper class that hoards means little money flowing in the economy, and that leads to a whole host of other issues. Non-stop class stratification and exploitation ultimately lead to societal upheaval in some way; it always does and we're seeing a small dose of that now. We can stand to make things more equitable for everybody with relatively little cost to the top "earners" in this country; doing so might get workers back in the force and save some of these small businesses from failing.

How is he making that kind of money when his employees are working poor under some of the worst working conditions in the U.S.?

I wouldn't give a fukk how much he made if he was providing a middle class living. Instead Amazon raises the cost of living in the area while providing low paying jobs, and pays no taxes to top it off.
That's the the thing, if the standard of living was good for everyone I wouldn't give a fukk about how much Bezos is making..... but it's not, so now it's a case of where can we skim to get there.

Forgive me for posting so much but that's what I'm saying. How is any small business owner supposed to compete with a company that can run in the RED for years? And the amount of leverage these companies have my god... Damn the political labels, just take a peak below the surface and into the amount of exploitation going on....how is it not unnerving to some of yall?
