Time line for my RMA:
5/29 - Contacted Steam Support
6/1 - RMA and shipping label emailed to me
6/3 - Broken Deck arrives at Valve facility
6/11 Replacement Deck on my doorstep.
Night and Day difference. With my first unit any game that didn't load would lockup the entire device. Now I can just press the Steam button and go back to home. Installed Heroic Launcher for my Epic Games, and Emulation station. Emulation station had been the only sore spot for me. My 20 year old roms don't seem to work well with modern emulators. I haven't gamed on my gaming rig once since this weekend. I originally pre-ordered the Steam Deck to flip, but it's definitely a keeper.

I got my shyt ressed for this fall as well. already getting my steam backlog ready and getting my isos/roms loaded its gone be amazing

I can see steam releasing a updated deck and having a trade in system, they kind of have to this shyt wont be able to run AAA on even low in 5 years.
I don't really care if they don't though this is a dream handheld. Having all my old school joans in one spot and my pc backlog

Just like buying a game. I got my confirmation email within the hour of paying for my Steam Deck. I got it on Thursday, so I didn't get my shipping info until the following Monday.

Smh there's always some fukkery.
I've had to contact customer service bank says payment has gone through with no reverse on the system but I haven't received anything and the site hasn't updated .

If you go back to the Steam website/app and look at the Steam Deck page, it should no longer show your pre-order. Also if you go into your steam account and look at your previous purchases, it will show that you paid for your Steam Deck. Good luck.
