What about the dumbasses who pay with their card and say "ok it's gonna be credit, what do I do?" How about you read the screen idiot! I work the parts desk at a Pep Boys, you wouldn't believe how many people come in and do the following:
Customer: "Hey I need a *insert generic car part here*"
Me: "Ok what's the vehicle?"
"I'm not sure...."
How do people not know what they drive?

I worked many retails job (Walgreens, Target, Sears) and never really had issues with customers. Only thing I can think of is one guy at Sears who was buying a pair of shoes and he wanted me to put them on his feet. I'm not Al Bundy you old fukk

Working at a call center for a cable company was by far the worst example of customer attitudes you will encounter though. People that can't read bills, 'threatening' to leave if you wouldn't give them a deal, complaining about the lack of good tv shows like we control it , etc etc etc
my job is down the street from a Comcast call center so the employees usually stopping by on break. the ones that work customer service always look the most miserable. they always saying how moronic some of the customers are. altho some employees aren't exactly great themselves. maybe last week our internet starts acting up and my pops calls att. he has me talk to them since my mom was at work and I'm more tech savvy. it seemed like they spent five minutes apologizing for the issue in different ways. "What seems to be the problem? oh your internet isn't working? I'm sorry hear that. I can try and resolve your issue. can I transfer you to technical support? would you like their number? again i apologize for your troubles. May i help you with something else while you wait?" it's always some over friendly Indian dude you can barely understand. they should have a tech support option in the automated system. I'm like motherfukker if you can't help me then why am I talking to you. gotta get thru like 3 people just to get someone that knows how to fix your issue.

I forgot to mention this but last month on thanksgiving I was working and it was VERRYYY slow and it was a relief to have such a slow line....and it was a complete ghosttown...

then when it became too good to be true....this lady came on my line "price picking" and being an extreme pain in the ass with 2 people behind her....caused a big hold up....the guy behind(Black guy) was mad cool about it and said he understands dealing with people like that and in his words said "I call them price pickers" and I joked with him how it was so smooth until she came....

pray for me brehs..... its Christmas eve.....and I work 1 to 7 later today :beli: :beli: :beli: im gonna need your prayers

how that shyt work out today?

Ha! This thread is taking me back....retail the bane of my existence. I dont even feel like going into the stories because it makes my blood boil. White consumers- rude, self entitled AND NEVER HAND CHANGE IN YOUR HAND, BUT WANT YOU TO HAND THEM BACK THEIRS IN THEIR HAND. My disdain for white folks started vividly working in retail at 16.
yeah older and middle aged w ppl are the worst...young ones are cool tho

I recently started a PT gig a few months back to prep and save money for a move out of state. Haven't really had any bad customers since I've started working except for the past two weeks. It's like the holiday season turns people into monsters.

One person, I walk up to her (white woman of course) and ask her if she needs any help finding anything. She goes, "yes, I saw this stainless steel thermos online, I want to get it."

So I walk over to the register, and type in 'thermos', 'stainless steel' (got like a milly results) and got nothing. So I ask her, "well ma'am, do you know the exact name of the item?"

"It was a stainless steel thermos, IDK. :beli:"

At this point I'm not even fazed because this happens a lot and we have a computer that we can go online to look up things. So I ask her if she wants to just walk a few steps over to the computer and show me exactly what she searched and she just turns around and walks off. Well I go over there anyway and type in some things to try and find it and then she comes back and goes, "no, none of those are it. UGH."

At this point I'm irritated because she's giving me an attitude because SHE can't properly describe an item that SHE saw online. Then she storms off. A few minutes later I'm ringing up another customer and I see her walk past me and go, "this is fukking bullshyt!"

Later on that day in the breakroom my homie told me she was complaining to him about me (he tried to help her after me). I don't understand customers who look for things online and don't write down the name of the item or the item number/sku. :wtf: shyt makes no sense.

i left retail work 5 years ago and vowed never to work there again. i can't stand people and the thought of smiling in their faces and actually serving them fills me with disgust. my life would've to be in complete tatters before i'd even entertain the thought of going back. fukk the general public.

I fukking hate rude people in stores. I've never worked retail but I constantly see people in stores who are so damn rude. The area I live in has a lot of white trash scumbags so that makes it even worse but especially with the holiday season these crowds bring out the worst in people. Being bytchy as hell to employees and leaving behind any semblance of manners at the door. I dont play that bullshyt where people are gonna be rude to everyone else in the store
