A few months back, a group of Asian women came in to buy some sweaters. I ring them all up and they're like "what?! They're regular price?" I'm like... "Yes, they're $xx.95 regular price." And then they get mad and are like "but last week sweaters were 30% off."

I'm like "yeah...last week they were 30%. This week they are not. "
They look at me like "but it was YOU who sold us the sweaters 30% off."
I'm like "just because they were on a promotional sale last week doesn't mean they will be the next week. TODAY they are marked as regular priced. I can have a manager come over and explain it to you better if you want."
They're like "yes, I want to speak to your manager."

Manager comes over and tells them the same damn thing except MORE rudely cause they are still trying to argue with her about it.

When my manager leaves, they throw the sweaters on the counter and is like "well I'm not going to get them."

I get a lot that can barely speak English so when explaining concepts such as having an item on sale one day and then not the other, why we cannot honor online only coupons, why the same style of shirt in a different color costs more its hard for them to understand.

She was mad we don't have carts in our store. Told her that and she asked me to hold her clothes while she price checks, cool

Supervisor called me after I left and said she woulda handled it the same way . I ian't gonna lie doe, I was wishing she was calling to tell me I was fired, I fukking hate that job

I'm glad I don't work the register or try avoid it if possible. better after the holidays when it slows down and the tourists and out of towners leave. coupons seem to be an annoying trait lately. got folks taking pics of coupons as if that's acceptable.and then ones holding up a register with a million coupons. customers aren't as bad as my manager and some co-workers. I'm helping a lady try and print photos and manager asks me to open a register. i tell him I'm busy with someone, can you ask someone else. he gonna get upset and tell me something afterwards. So I used to work at Walmart part-time a min ago while I was in school. I had basically left my whole environment and went to the suburbs to get out of the way. Anyways, Im at work about to take my break and whaever when I hear my old nickname called.

So breh dips and I go outside to take my break. I come back from my break and one of the support managers comes up to me and hits me with the.

" Whats up with your peoples? They stole from the store? Thats not good."

So I go about my business and word starts getting around that the electronics department got raped. I heard it from like 3 different workers. Then a supervisor thats cool with me told me that all of the apple products got stolen. So now Im kinda like ....

I get pulled aside by an assistant manager about an hour later and he tells me around $7,000 of merchandise was stolen from the electronics department. I knew then what time it was. ....So my shift ends and Im bout to leave when the Co-manager of the whole store pulls me to his office and we review the highlight tape. This nikka cleaned walmart out. Hit them for every Ipod, Iphone, and Ipad. Then this trife ass nikka gonna flag me down and shake my hand on the way out.shyt literally looked like I was in on it.

Co-Manager: "because it was grand larceny the police are going to have to get involved. I recommend that you give a statement to them and identify the thief and his associates."


So Im thinking of the most nikkarific excuse on why i shook this fools hand.


Me: " Ummm I dont really know him like that. I used to play basketball with his cousin a few years ago and he played with us a from time to time .




Co-manager: "Well you dont have to give a statement but I would recommend it. Could you stick around for the police to come.?"

Safe to say work was an awkward place for me after that. I know people had their eyes on me. The old Filipino workers were giving me the and the . While these 2 cashiers (one was kinda bad) was giving me the look.













Nothing ever happened with that shyt but I did go back to the hood looking for this nikka that pulled that foul shyt. I could never catch up with him. Then about a year or so after that incident I seent this nikka on the news. nikka went down for being involved with two different homicides. One being his own cousin..

I used to work in a bank as a cashier in a ratchet part of town. Never a-fukkin'-gain. People screaming at YOU because their wages didn't arrive in the account, making a scene because the line is a bit too long for their liking, not bringing an ID and expecting to withdraw thousands, copping an attitude just because, giving you a certain amount of money to deposit in their account and insisting they gave you more despite counting it right in front of them etc you name it. I'll never work directly for the public ever again in any sector. People are just a$$holes in general when they know they don't have to be held accountable.
