So I used to work at Walmart part-time a min ago while I was in school. I had basically left my whole environment and went to the suburbs to get out of the way. Anyways, Im at work about to take my break and whaever when I hear my old nickname called.

So breh dips and I go outside to take my break. I come back from my break and one of the support managers comes up to me and hits me with the.


":merchant: Whats up with your people?"


Me: :dwillhuh: ..........:what: What chu mean my people?


":whoa: Whats up with your peoples? They stole from the store? Thats not good."


Me: Man thats messed up.:troll:......................:manny:


So I go about my business and word starts getting around that the electronics department got raped. I heard it from like 3 different workers. Then a supervisor thats cool with me told me that all of the apple products got stolen. So now Im kinda like :lupe: ....

I get pulled aside by an assistant manager about an hour later and he tells me around $7,000 of merchandise was stolen from the electronics department. :beli: I knew then what time it was. ....So my shift ends and Im bout to leave when the Co-manager of the whole store pulls me to his office and we review the highlight tape. This nikka cleaned walmart out. Hit them for every Ipod, Iphone, and Ipad. Then this trife ass nikka gonna flag me down and shake my hand on the way out.:beli:shyt literally looked like I was in on it:snoop:.


Co-manager: :comeon:


Me::whoa::whoa::whoa::whoa::whoa::whoa::whoa:




Co-Manager: "because it was grand larceny the police are going to have to get involved. I recommend that you give a statement to them and identify the thief and his associates."


So Im thinking of the most nikkarific excuse on why i shook this fools hand.:patrice:


Me: " Ummm I dont really know him like that. I used to play basketball with his cousin a few years ago and he played with us a from time to time .:mjpls:




Co-manager: "Well you dont have to give a statement but I would recommend it. Could you stick around for the police to come.?"

Safe to say work was an awkward place for me after that. I know people had their eyes on me. The old Filipino workers were giving me the :shaq2: and the :scusthov:. While these 2 cashiers (one was kinda bad) was giving me the :datazz: look.













Nothing ever happened with that shyt but I did go back to the hood looking for this nikka that pulled that foul shyt. I could never catch up with him. Then about a year or so after that incident I seent this nikka on the news. nikka went down for being involved with two different homicides. One being his own cousin.:wow:.



Dude was slimy.
I call bullshyt. I ain't seen no ipods or ipads unlocked ever.

so yesterday it was slower because it was the day after christmas but technically there was still a big amount of people coming in....

so this younger lady and this older lady who i assume was her mother came on the line....the daughter put down the red basket with all the stuff in it....then walked down towards the end with her lazy ass....i was pissed and bursting to say something but reached my hand in to start taking the shyt out....her mother notices and then apologizes and takes the stuff out with me....

anyone who is familiar with these jobs knows the button you press stops sometimes so you don't go all the way and crush one of their food items(if their slow asses aren't just wasting time on the phone ignoring what is going on)...

so im ringing the stuff up....its moving...and stopping...so now its in the middle.....this lazy ass girl at the end is just standing there staring as if she is actually waiting on ME... :wtf:

i got fed up then and was not gonna continue this nonsense a second time after i did not check her the first time....just looked at her and said "miss there is a button right there" and miraculously she started moving it...i would bet any amount of $ she knew it was there....when i said that though even though she started movign she looked towards her mother and said something about why are you acting like im not doing anything... :mjpls: and her mother who was smiling in all of this(but i can tell she is embarrassed) starts saying "well the gentleman told you to...." and we finish up and me and the mother say bye and she is again acting classy compared to the daughter

Almost made a lady cry because I didn't let her open an iPad case. Said I was discriminating against her. bytch was white too. Her daughters were embarrassed.

Had a customer get mad because he thought I was laughing at him. After he compIained that my customer service sucks. just hit him with the :umad: as I was going to lunch.

Man I worked in retail I got a ton of them

But I experienced one as a customer today
I had a code for something that I forgot but I knew it can be keyed into the register

So I go in to buy a tablet
Cashier tells me to print it out even though I know for sure that it can be put in manually(taking all but 2 seconds)
Mind you hes trying to add a antivirus I dont even want/need
So he brings someone else over. And they try to tell me the it might be a fake code.
At that point I'm :snoop:
One of the ass hats points me to a customer kiosk which I know for sure doesnt print
So I ask around and of of course no one knows where but I'm still not mad.
So I go back to the ass hat and politely can you atleast tell me where I cant print it out.
Points me to a manager.

After another 5 mins of non sense. The girl at customer service was like okay just go back and use it
It can be type in manually.

I get it...I get it...

But if you're in a line of work that requires intensive, hands on, face-to-face contact with the public (retail, human services/social work, customer service rep., call center rep, entry level non-profit, teachers, admin assistant/front desk clerk at a public agency, nursing assistant, etc) you gotta expect this stuff to some degree.

Maybe you're in the wrong line of work. :manny:

it was funny to me....on christmas eve was when i saw the most Black folks i have ever seen at this supermarket...it was insane....i know obviously some were tourists but you already know it was some people who live around here doing their shopping late for no damn reason....

Going back to the thread.....how do all of you feel about those annoying ass customers who seem to always open their mouths while your still with the other person....

im talking about those who while your still with the person before them and helping that person use the machine to use their credit card randomly shout out "Oh I don't have my card....can i give me your number" ? ok.... :wtf:

"Can i get a price check on these"....Ok you dumb bytch why don't you just wait an extra 18 seconds and greet me like a normal person....how hard is it to wait for the person to be done and then say "Hello " and then ask your question....

what i am about to say is gonna be clowned but there really needs to be some talk about having some reform in terms of every customer service operation having guidelines for customers and how to respect workers and not just the other way around all the time...

we put up with ALOT

@DrX I had no idea if i should put this in the "gems of dealing with women thread" but damn I have to say in here....

WOMEN ARE SOME DISGUSTING CREATURES!!! :fire: i am so heated right now at 2 things that happened earlier :fire:

their really needs to be a code of behavior for customers....they are making them get too lose now...

people would get kicked out of a doctor's office for disrespectful shyt....they need to stop acting like supermarkets or other customer service location are any different

I've been in customer service for 14 years . I've seen it all.

A few stories though:

When I worked returns @ Fry's Electronics, I was dealing with an a$$hole customer who was going off about damage HE did on a camera I believe.

In between his bytching, I murmured "a$$hole" under my breath. He heard it but his wife (who was right next to him) and my other employees didn't. So when he tried to question me about it, I was like "no sir, I didn't call you that" :troll: Needless to say, everyone including his wife thought dude was being delusional about it and he later apologized :pachaha: This was some bold shyt though cause a month prior, we had a guy get fired cause a customer caught him calling the guy a bytch under his breath and went straight to the store MGR about it.

I had an old black guy go off on a racist tirade on me because I didn't have what he had in stock, calling me ****** about 15 times in a two minute argument. I really wanted to stole on his peanut head but I refrained yet still telling him, "fukk you bytch" before walking off.

My supervisor asked if I was ok and if his ass was out of the store or he was going to call Loss Prevention to do so but my dept. mgr asked me "what did you do" , when I told him :aicmon:

During black Friday, a guy cut in front of several people in the checkout line , causing a scene. When my Dept mgr at the time came by to confront him about it, the customer pushed him. Only for my MGR to push him back . All of the cashiers were like :ooh: while dude who got pushed was like :merchant: He was later cheered by them after LP kicked the line cutter out . He told us the story with the "Now, I don't want you guys to do that" :lolbron:

The "take it outside" approach was actually used by a dude I worked with when I was @ Jack In The Box cause they didn't want the fight to happen in the restaurant.

I was @ Penneys for four years , including the fukkery of the clown from Apple coming in and fukking everything up before getting canned. Try dealing with all of that with the customers. Especially during the "We're sorry , we fukked up. Come on back" AD campaign. Every race had their horrible customers. From the super cheap Indians, to the mexicans and their bad ass kids tearing up the store, to the bitter middle aged black women. Working at a mall that became ratchet too didn't make things easy. The customer online survey JCP had was the devil. I gotten complaints from customers on everything from how I looked at them to I wasn't quick enough in getting their shoe size. I'm glad I got outta there yet they're still talking about me, MGRs & supervisors , five months after I left. Get off my dikk. 'Ol crabs in a bucket.

I'm still in it @ Macy's but I really like my job now. Probably because of all of the shyt I dealt with my previous jobs made me appreciate a good one more.

This is something similar that happened in my 2nd incident today...

got pissed at this dumbass lady for this reason:

So everything goes fine with finishing scanning her items....

I tell her the total and she gives me $20 and says to hold on I have the change....

Okay fine...glad she is not those types of dumbass customers who tell you they have change AFTER you have put in the money...

So she finishes checking her bag and gives me a quarter and a nickel...the exact change was about 6 more cents(hard to remember my head hurts from work today)

So I put it in and her change ends up being like 4 dollars and 96 sents....

as I am counting it out for her like I always count out the change for customers this dumb ass lady starts spazzing hard and her attitude makes a complete change...

starts talking about "what is wrong with you" and how "I don't want 96 cents in change" and says "I gave you a quarter, a nickel, and a dime,etc" and I have to say...

No miss you only gave me a quarter and a nickel....starts then saying some real stupid shyt about how "well you should know if I want change...blah blah blah to correct me" and all this shyt :wtf:

she is not taking the change so I just throw It on the belt

then I am getting real pissed after incidents that happened earlier in the day...I keep repeating "Miss you made a mistake...own up to it like an adult...stop acting like a child...your older than me and acting immature"...

When she is down towards the belt packing her stuff she said something again and I said something back( anyone in this line of work knows your bosses always say don't talk back but with certain people its difficult...they don't create a list of requirements for these customers to respect the actual cashier/workers)

She said a smart ass response about "sorry mam ...did you say something...I mean mister" and I say for her to go fukk yourself dirty bytch under my breath and she goes to the front end to talk to one of my supervisors

the supervisor tells me to close after my next customer and come speak to her...speak to her real quick about how if im having a bad day today because they don't really get complaints with me and how im not the type to ...etc

says its not a big deal but to talk to "andy"(the store manager)

talked to him about the numerous incidents today and he was cool about it and brought up the fact that the lady making a big deal about the change said "He is a rude son of a bytch"...
