I'll say one thing, retail is no way to live but there's way harder ways to cop minimum wage. You work in a kitchen and not only is the work dull af but you still need to concentrate to keep your work rate up so that the restaurant functions. You start putting the finishing touches on your "having sex with colleagues" daydreams and next thing you know you've got a line cook in your face screaming about "Where're my clean soup dishes", ffs.
