"Institutional racism isn't the fundamental problem of the black community. It's education" Racim is the cause of the lack of education in the black community. The anti-education mentality that permeates the black community is cultivated by the racist society/environment that we live in. Black babies arent born with an anti-edication "i dont wanna be shyt" mentality, that mentality is instilled in blacks by society people. Over 70% of black children are birthed by single mothers. You can't address the anti-education mentality without addressing the breakdown in the black family structure. You can't address the breakdown of the black family structure without addressing the fact that so many black men are in prison. You can't address the problem of so many black men in prsion without looking at the crooked justice system which targets black men and ostracizes them(us) from society. As hard as some of you want to try and for the white man and absolve him of any blame, there's no getting around the cause for the state of the black community being institutional racism or white supremacy/black inferiority. You simply cannot ignore that if you want to seriously discuss our problems. "never mind discrimination in the job market, we should just create our own economies" Well the only way for blacks to create our own economy would be to segregate ourselves and do everything for us by us. How many of you have the balls to advocate that because that's the answer imo. We wouldn't be able to segregate ourselves at this point because there's no unity amongst us. Again this all by design, it's not an accident. People need to wake up. Institutional racism is the fundamental problem of the black community. Until we rally ourselves and unite around that fact our problems will persist.
You're easily the most dishonest full of shyt poster on this site. You're either a compulsive liar or your are genuinely too stupid to comprehend the things that I say. I have found no use in engaging with you so ima tell you one more time, don't quote me unless you just want to be insulted.the thing is none of what you said is about putting black people on top, what you are spouting about is fundamentally based on white superiority and you are trying to attach the destiny of black people to the whims of white people
the civil rights ideology of fighting for equality is very noble and totally understandable but its not a way of thinking that would put black people on top ,in the end it will only produce marginal results, at the end of the day especially in 2013 90% of black people wake up in the morning and do whatever the fuk they want to do, so black people should focus on what black people are doing

No
We are trying to make y'all share some sense of god damn accountability in setting us on this path in the first place
Are you doing is being an apologist by saying, "look what's done is done, all you can do is brush your shirt off and keep moving toward bigger and better things."
I ain't really up for debating shyt but for all this pent up anger and frustration with the prison industrial complex/war on drugs its pretty clear alot of us want action to be taken... *WE* the black men, women and others that actually CARE enough to get incensed by the current state of affairs have to be the ones to bring this to the public forum. nikkas bytch about hispanics and immigration (and granted, their growing population is a huge part of their friend power) but let's not forget all the damn protests, organizing, etc they've done over the past few yrs... remember 06? they went ham. as it stands right now, even black people ain't concerned, so I guess is kinda unfair to expect it from Obama i'm starting to seriously consider how i can play a role in bringing it to the national spotlight. cuz I'll be damned if I continue to just sit back and "talk" about what needs to be. fight with me brehs
we are concerned, and we are fighting but our argument is too segmented
right now, the major talking point that America relates to hispanics/latinos is immigration
once immigration gets approved, then we'll truly see how open America is toward the hispanic and latino cause
because then that intertwines with our arguments....better treatment and more of a focus toward low income families, job opportunities, fair treatment by the court systems etc etc
Again, coming back to the topic of the thread, using one of our own in power to help either make things fair or even rig the game in our favor would be a way to do that
The problem is we are not politically shrewd enough to force Obama's hand into doing so
And this talk of "dominating" is like telling a 500lb man the only way he can lose weight is by doing sprints every day. At this point for us that is not realistic in the short term. We need to get our shyt together and learn how to leverage our political power. Not to mention you scoff utilizing political power but push for education- for which our access has largely been broadened by the very liberals you claim are of no use to us
You regurgitate these vague platitudes and play word/logic games w/anyone who disagrees with you... you don't really say anything and your whole platform is kind of silly
Voting Republican is not the only way to exercise independent from Dems. Increased black turnout was a huge part of Obama's landslide in 08. We could turn the spigot the other way. Likewise we could vote third party. You would prob argue "those are just Repub votes in disguise" but I disagree, especially the third party vote in the context of black voting history.but i already answered the question on how to force obama's hand, you have to declare independence from the democratic party and vote for other parties and fully exploit intellectual freedom and research other ideologies and political views
instead you are the fakkit that spent 10 pages crying like a little beatch because i said hip hop was a culture and that there is nothing wrong with voting republican, then you have the nerve to start crying about putting pressure on obama?
as for the domination stuff, just ignore that for now you arent really at a level where you can comprehend that

And nobody is salty with you or crying, more like amused. I wasn't crying, I was laughing at the fact that you decry and do not participate in any of the elements of hip hop culture, yet continuously cite it as your central focus for rebuilding. When I asked you to name the elements of hip hop you scrambled and posted a random KRS 1 video.
You and Gravity are the only dudes in here calling people names and getting emotional. Lets keep things objective + in perspective... you don't need to make personal attacks if your platform is strong
