People scoff at it because that argument made week by week depending on the offense and how they perform. When those receivers perform well, you don't hear anything about it.

If you're hyping someone up as up as becoming a three time MVP and back to back MVP and has the best RB in the league, you're going to be hard pressed getting people to hear that they need more weapons. Not to mention same said people like to use the weapons argument against other QBs.

You either want them to have those type of weapons or you don't.

I know it was a divisional game, but there's a reason I can't take the Ravens over the Chiefs. They lose to terrible teams that they should NOT lose against. They blow leads they should not blow.
