Poles already failed Fields so he wasn't going to dump him and then take another QB that could be seen as a better runner than passer. Probably had to talk himself out of going that way and taking Caleb a year after passing on Stroud was the clear cut safer option.

This won't be no Bryce over Stroud Draft miss tho.

Caleb is going to do work. His coaching staff is just ass unfortunately
