Make sure that your funds are straight or you have a job line up before you try to move. When I moved to California from Ohio, I was down in the Daygo for about 3 months before I had to move up north to Orange County for work.I love this place, I wanna move to San Diego as well.

That’s the majority of Southern California. If you want to be somewhere where there is a big Black population, you better off moving to Atlanta, Houston or somewhere else.San Diego has grown on me but the lack of black people is hard to deal with. That feeling of going to a mall or large shopping center and being the only black person you see is so off-putting.

Trust me, I low key want to move to either to Long Beach or LA for a bigger Black population but my funds and my job situation have me stuck at the moment. Also, being close to the ocean and seeing the wealth around me makes me want to improve myself and keeps me grinding for something better over time. There not too many places in the world that can compete with California and that’s why people all over keep moving here despite what the news or what the Coli says. It’s a nice city though
I moved here from Atlanta. I’ve lived in majority black cities the majority of my life so its just something I’m not used to. I guess maybe I know how the whites feel lol. That’s the majority of Southern California.
