I feel the same why on why people want to live in primary red states like Texas, Georgia and Florida just because land is cheaper and there more Black people there. Some of these states right now trying to suppress minorities from voting and make it easier to have guns for your angry cac who is mad that the world is changing. Each state has it pros and cons but overall I'm happy with my choice to move out here.

Real fukkin talk, Desantis and his folks run my state and republicans have run this state my entire life in terms of governorship, and now they full got the senate here as well. Just look who represents my state, these laws are straight up racist. Cant be living out here and potentially wanting to raise a family out here.

You’re definitely right about states suppressing votes, it’s crazy that people aren’t outraged about it! We’re just living in a crazy time.

People want to move where they’ll be more comfortable and also places that they can afford. Claims expensive, it has its positives and negatives. I grew up there for the most part and know what it’s like so I have no interest in moving back.

What would you say the negatives are? Asking since you're from there. Id appreciate it.

I didn't grow up with Black teachers (we did have a Black staff in middle school, though.).

Personally, I prefer LA's Black community, they have a stronger presence in my opinion. My older sister and brother both work/live in LA. If I can somehow make my way down there with a good paying job, I'm taking it.

:banderas:

I agree, I had family in LA area so I definitely agree with you on that.

Really just the lack in f Black people. It’s not just San Diego, it’s the entire North County. Yea there’s Black people there, but many times driving around you won’t see them.

You’ll be at jobs, bars, restaurants etc and it’ll be you and maybe a few others. Every place isn’t like Atlanta and that’s not what I need, but I need more Black people around me other than me and the people that I’m with.

San Diego is a nice place though.

Are you in California right now, or did you stay down here for a certain amount of time?
