U.S Military never teaches you "Now give your enemy a fair 1v1"

You make the fight as unfair as possible because you're trying to go home.

When you about to square up with someone on the battle field what they emphasize in combat school is to put as much distance between you and them so you can call for backup.

Then you mob on them as a team.

That's how wars are won.

This 1v1 fair stuff is for the ring and that's it.

In real war a 1v1 between an F-22 and an enemy F-16 will soon be 20 F-22's vs 1 enemy F-16 because you don't risk your brothers and sisters in arms not going home.

That same rule applies to fighting in the real world and why you should never expect a fair fight outside of the ring.

This is like thinking you can create a mural because you draw in your spare time. I don't know why people keep thinking they can step into the ring with a professional and win. This is their JOB. They do this shyt full time. Playing flight simulator every other weekend doesn't make you a pilot. Getting into random bar fights doesn't make you a martial artist.
Actually the airforce does actively try to recruit highscores in flight sims

We weren't trained to win regulated, civilized, 10-count fights. We were trained to accomplish missions.

Who thought a military person has the training, conditioning, and endurance to go 3-5 rounds in a ring?

We were trained to not let our battles down and make it back to our families. If the match had no rules and whoever kills the other first, then the Seal would win.

Hell naw.

The fighter would go bytch in a life or death encounter, while the Seal would rise to the occasion.
How are you claiming he would win in this situation?? Your guy got beaten into submission. If there were no rules he would've just gotten bludgeoned to death while he was lying on the ground not defending himself. I respect the seals, but this ain't it :mjlol:

Why do untrained fighters volunteer to get in the ring with this guy to get dog walked like this? :pachaha:
MMA is part of some white supremacists groups culture, so getting in the ring with an ex champion like Sean (who is basically one of them ideology wise) is a honor and probably a rite of passage

Yeah, watch what happens if this were really "no rules" and life or death in urban/conventional warfare :mjlol: :heh:

My point is they'd still need you to run their sims and then put you in a plane with someone else. You don't just tell them "I clocked in 20 hrs on flight simulator x last month:ld: " and they say "get this man on a plane"

Just because a seal has some hand to hand training on what to do if he's unarmed(a situation that he should NOT be in to begin with) doesn't mean he can step into the ring and crush someone who has been training rigorously for the situation that you've been trained to avoid.

It's like when someone asks "would you rather fight two men armed with knives or 1 unarmed, hungry and furious silverback gorilla"

You'll have mfs here unironically telling you they'll take their chances with the gorilla and writing long explanations on how they think they'll win :why:

Navy Seals are not given any major hand to hand combat training. What they are given is training in range weapon tactics. They are not hand to hand combatants, they are special ops sailors who kill their targets with rifles and guns.

I say that to say, anyone talking about Seals being able to hang in profession hand to hand combat arena does not know what they were talking about. They kill with range weapons, not their fists.
