Meek is what happens when dudes have no interest in their history or future. It's all about the present, and attaining money. No time for self improvement. No time for reading. My cousin is like that smh. Always trying to find a come up the easy way, talking about how he gonna be stacking paper soon instead of just going to school or getting a good job.

Last week I was reading a James Baldwin book and this nikka came up on me and was like what you doing. I told him and he googled Baldwin and said "why you reading a book written by a gay nikka?!?!" :what::what::what:

so you think blacks are as inept and unable to run their own lives without some shallow attempt at brainwashing

you're always talking about white supremacy but you act like blacks are just as helpless and brainless as they think we are :stopitslime:

Exactly. During the late-90's/Early-Noughts, the Baltimore Sun ran a series of articles about how lead paint poisoning was a huge problem in West and East Baltimore. The writer was trying to get some profile or whatever, so he started researching lead toxicity and actually reasoned that the blight, decay, violence, and brutality that is inner-city living, was due, in large part, to the lead poisoning suffered by the residents of Baltimore.

I remember reading this and thinking about how racist it was. Like really, that's what it is, lead toxicity?

Music is these nikkas lead toxicity.

Dead Prez Quote:
White folks say it controls your brain
But I know better than that, that's game.

The fact that i LITERALLY wanted to be a ninja turtle is the point. Hold up, are u denying that kids are impressionable? And i see that you edited the post to NOT include the part where i mentioned "parental guidance" which would obliterate your questions about why a kid wouldnt go out and do certain things:patrice:

Right right, no I'm with you.

WHAT STOPPED YOU FROM BEING A NINJA TURTLE?

Lol @ the fake outrage in this thread. Ain't nobody looking for Political commentary from Meek Mill. If you want Political commentary, listen to someone whose actually equipped to do so, not a damn rapper.

Or better yet, read a book
. :snoop:

That's the whole point. See, cats don't want to read or listen to actual political commentary. nikkas want to be entertained, they want to check out. Then they realize how uninformed they are when social issues come up and they look for someone else to blame

It's sad really.

How dare we black people not want to hear music promoting our own genocide

We're racist like Fox News rite?

Can yall believe this?:pachaha:

I remember when Spike Lee released Do the Right Thing and the New York Times reviewer actually claimed that the film would cause black people to riot.

Spoke Lee was so upset at how racist that remark was and I never understood why.

Now I do. Dudes out here really thinking that black kids are so mindless and impressionable, that they will just up and destroy their community because a dude talks about shooting, robbing, and drug dealing in a fukking song?

The soft bigotry of low expectations.

thats what they want u to think, stay woke:youngsabo:
Come on. I've read up as much as I can on Malcom X, MLK, what really happened to Fred Hampton and others to see what was really going on.

But if you think 2pac was a victim of the same I don't know what to tell you. 2pac was making commercials for malt liquor, joined a Compton Piru gang, contributed heavily to the Eastcoast/Westcoast beef, getting in fights with Crips and threatened other black musicians in his music.

I'm tired of lazy ass people waiting for fukking celebrities to spoon feed them their views on politics
meek mill aint no damn politician :camby:

Your logic, Muhammad Ali should never say a word about the War on Vietnam or black pride. :stopitslime:

Or Chuck D should never say a word about white supremacy. :pacspit:

I bet you if it was benefitting gays, you would listen. :sas2:

c00n shyt. Chuck d been talking shyt about cacs for 30 years, and he still doing it. Never been arrested. Dead Prez? Ice Cube? Brand Nubian?

Just admit your a pop rapper and them jews want you to continue being a good ****** and talking about topics they want to hear: Killing other blacks, popping pills and selling dope. These new nikkas is cowards

Indeed they are. I have 1000 times more respect for J. Cole after Meek lost a bunch of his followers these last few days. He a pawn for white supremacy.

Btw it really is weak AF that he has no problem rapping about killing his brothers, disrespecting our women, selling drugs to our people, and poisoning the minds of the youth with his garbage but he's scared to speak on things that would really help our community with his platform.

I know people are making fun of him but that is genuinely sad to me. It's heartbreaking that many rappers feel this way.

Thankfully it seems more mainstream rappers like Kendrick and Cole are becoming more comfortable doing that.

@PumPumAholic® @marcuz @Rawster

These c00ns always end up getting exposed for their cowardly stances and scared of change that benefits black folk.

taylor swift and ed sheran are POP artists, which is why I brought their names up
thats what I mean with people like you, everything is a racial pissing contest
you can't even think in terms of music, when someone brings up an artist, you only see their race :dead:
black genocide this, black genocide that
people like you don't have an endgame, nor do you look forwards or backwards
so after a bunch of armchair activists bully black entertainers into being mouthpieces for a black hivemind, then what? Do all rappers have to get their music evaluated by a "black community" board? What happens when angry people are still being violent and sad people are still using drugs? Do they only deserve special attention when rap doesn't exist?

Do all sensible black people a favor: NEVER COMPLAIN ABOUT RACISM AGAIN if you think that all black folks should only entertain. Meaning that, no talking about police brutality, senseless murders, and so on.

The community cant be fixed until there's a MAJOR MENTAL OVERHAUL 1st. If you cant comprehend that concept you're a lost cause. :yeshrug:NO change can ever occur without 1st a change in ones MINDSTATE. That goes for the biggest revolutions throughout history, to a woman finally leaving her abusive boyfriend, on down to a kid finally standing up to his bully. A "change" in the black community will have to start with a mass change of consciousness in our community. Whats "cool" today like ignorance, killing other black ppl and giving all of our money to other communities will have to be a deemed a hinderance to the progression of the black community. Instead, unity, intelligence, supporting one another and the concept of keeping our money circulating within the community will have to become "cool". I dont understand whats so hard to grasp about what im saying

Only in America, is ignorance being labeled as cool and having "swag" to get bird brain broads.

Meek is the result of nikkas without knowledge of self @Art Barr

Lost and undisciplined in every sense of the word. He too emotional and too scared of doing shyt outside of the limited paradigm of "ballin outta control"
