The music controls the culture..
Yep, thats what i keep tryna tell these cats but they still think its "just entertainment" when its waaay more than that. I would even go so far to say that hiphop culture is the most powerful and influential force in the black community. And right now, what is the main theme of 90% of easily-accessible, mainstream hiphop?: Ignorance & extreme materialism. White Suremacy is dependant on our ignorance, hatred/distrust towards EACH OTHER and us supporting other communities with our money. The day that the black community decides to unite as 1,practice group economics and keep our money within the community, will be the day that America is no longer "America". Thats why mainly music that tells us to hate each other and to spend, spend, spend gets the most airplay.

They brainwash the people so easily. They tell nikkas to drink Ciroc and they do it, they tell nikkas to ride 24 inch rims and they do it. They tell nikkas to get money by any means and they do it. It's so many nikkas in Prison/Jail over shyt that they were inspired to do via rap music and they don't even know it. If the top 4 rappers in the game started rapping about doing crack, that shyt would become popular instantly like molly did. People are so impressionable, and not just the kids. I see grown ass men and women letting hip hop dictate how they live their life.

Yeah because NWA is irreverent in today's time. I guess society has changed and black folks ain't getting the short end of the "police brutality and racism in America" stick

Take it up with Meek. I'm not listening to him for social commentary and I'm fine with that.

Drake doesn't touch on those topics neither.

They are entertainers not activists.
