taylor swift and ed sheran are POP artists, which is why I brought their names up
thats what I mean with people like you, everything is a racial pissing contest
you can't even think in terms of music, when someone brings up an artist, you only see their race :dead:
black genocide this, black genocide that
people like you don't have an endgame, nor do you look forwards or backwards
so after a bunch of armchair activists bully black entertainers into being mouthpieces for a black hivemind, then what? Do all rappers have to get their music evaluated by a "black community" board? What happens when angry people are still being violent and sad people are still using drugs? Do they only deserve special attention when rap doesn't exist?

You do realize that hiphop CULTURE has taken over as the most powerful and influential force in the black community rite? And what is the main theme of modern-day hiphop? Ignorance. If you're looking at this as simply "music" you're are sadly mistaken and short-sighted. This is an entire mindset and lifestyle thats being directly aimed at young, impressionable minds. Mainstream hiphop is PURPOSELY kept at a 6th grade level for a specific reason

so when these same rappers were out here battling adult men and women with the same lyrics, they were just getting ready to rot the minds of children?
these stuggling mixtape rappers with explicit lyrics are actually paid employees of the White Supremacy Secret Society? :ohhh:

Who the fukk wants him to be political or would rally behind him, honestly? Who is going to a Meek Mill rally to get charged up...see what I did there brehs? Should Bernie Sanders ask Meek Mill to be his running mate?

Same thing with Kendrick Lamar.

While I think it is great and perfectly fine for them both to speak their political views in their music as it is their right as an artist I don't understand why they need to be political leaders or even that level of role model. They are just fukking rappers. Nothing more and nothing less. People prop rappers up entirely too much when a bunch of them are regular people and/or idiots. Outside of rhyming they aren't always geniuses, great business people, stable, mentally sane, etc.

Why is he so popular with the youth, why do they look up to him as much as y'all claim they do?

He's popular because 1) he shares the same skin color and upbringing/background with the black youth that comes from the same environment. They "relate" to Meek in a way that a white kid(who are the biggest consumers of rap) could never. 2) put ANYBODY on the radio 3X/hr and in fancy looking videos with expensive cars, cribs and jewelry & video models, and they will be "worshipped". Thats just a human trait about us. We do it as adults, why do u think impressionable-minded kids would NOT look up to these rappers who are ALL OVER the t.v, radio and websites? The less parental guidance they have, the more susceptible they are to the negative sounds and imagery. And THOSE are the kids that this music is designed for because cells are needed to be filled to keep the Prison Industrial Complex (a huge money maker btw) up and running

Btw i LITERALLY wanted to be a Ninja Turtle when i was like 7. Just think about that and how impressionable we (ALL OF US) are as kids

I just asked a question, one that you didn't answer. :sas1:

I'm still trying to understand your logic though.

----- So, you're saying that the youth look up to Meek Mill as some sort of ghetto hero right?

THEN

----- You're saying that Meek, and people like Meek, is an industry tool used to further the white supremacy agenda?

Which one is it?

Yes to both, do you really think those 2 questions are complex and are parallel of each other? :mjlol:

As if saying yes to both doesn't validate the point ive been making of the agenda of continuing the cycle of the negative narrative of the hero" black pimp", "drug dealer" or "killing nikkas nikka" that kids look up too cuz they make it out and get rich off of it,which they try to emulate ...

It may seem beneficial on a short term level, but it is long-term destructive...

I clearly understand that black genocide music is not the cause of white supremacy from a macro level, but to deny its effect and reinforcement of white supremacy sub-fractal level is a foolish stance to take

sigh...

I understand not wanting to talk about political shyt on a big detailed level. He may not feel he's qualified. But to not speak about ANYTHING because you're afraid the government is gonna get you? While you peddle ignorance and go to jail for dumb shyt? fukkouttahere man. Not everyone has to do a To Pimp A Butterfly but dog...you can't have a couple songs about the struggle?

I have no respect for Meek. The Drake fiasco was the first step, this is the last one.

You can say that. You're coming around:leon:

Yes hiphop was INTENTIONALLY MANIPULATED starting in the early 90s as the genre was getn more and more popular and influential in a positive way. I could post a vid that explains this but you've seen it before:pachaha:

Again, theres a reason that 90% of music aimed at the black youth promotes an ignorant and destructive lifestyle. These unknown, mixtape rappers would NEVER go to a record label rapping about positivity and the upliftment of the black community:scusthov:

They know that they would NEVER get signed:mjlol:

talking to you is like talking to an automated phone service
take the hard road and try to "fix the community" without trying to use tricks to manipulate the masses, like getting rid of explicit rap entirely

So why didn't you go out, buy a sword and stab a few dudes up? Why didn't you grab a bostaff and start hitting nikkas over the head with it? Why didn't you go to school in a turtle costume everyday, live in the sewers, and fight crime at night?

Yes to both, do you really think those 2 questions are complex and are parallel of each other? :mjlol:

Yet, rap music has never been as ignorant as it is today and black crime has never been lower. There is no greater time to be black in America than in 2015.

If we go back to when rap was at its most conscious, blacks were catching the most hell. Being clipped and killed at the highest rates. Crack cocaine was literally destroying whole blocks while dudes were blasting The Message. Cats standing outside, running 24/7 open-air drug markets with Public Enemy blasting on the bloc.

And before that, whole cities were being decimated while cats were reciting Marvin Gaye lyrics.

Y'all keep ignoring data in order to shape a narrative that fits your narrow-minded view. Again, your arguments are actually just as racist as any white supremacist talking point.

The community cant be fixed until there's a MAJOR MENTAL OVERHAUL 1st. If you cant comprehend that concept you're a lost cause. :yeshrug:NO change can ever occur without 1st a change in ones MINDSTATE. That goes for the biggest revolutions throughout history, to a woman finally leaving her abusive boyfriend, on down to a kid finally standing up to his bully. A "change" in the black community will have to start with a mass change of consciousness in our community. Whats "cool" today like ignorance, killing other black ppl and giving all of our money to other communities will have to be a deemed a hinderance to the progression of the black community. Instead, unity, intelligence, supporting one another and the concept of keeping our money circulating within the community will have to become "cool". I dont understand whats so hard to grasp about what im saying
