Lamar did his thing last week outplayed Purdy by a mile & smacked the Niners. 5 TDs today smacked the Dolphins. You putting highlights of a win vs the trash can Commanders with some passing yard stats :mjlol: We might as well crown him as better than Joe Montana with them stats champ :mjlol:

Neither deserve mvp but it's now a qb award that behaves like the Heisman going by your logic. Which is fine but the award should be looked at differently. One game late in season shouldn't decide team mvps. Ravens have the best defense not surpsing thry shytting on other qbs.

Who do you think should get the award. The argument for the non-QBs has quieted down.

They haven't garrett has been great, cmc has been great, parsons have been great. The problem is its now a qb award. Award went from dak to purdy to lamar based on bad performances thats pretty wild and tells you no qb has separated themselves

Late in the season we have Purdy throw 0 TDs and 4 INTs last week in embarrassing loss to Ravens. Lamar had a stellar game clearly outplayed Purdy. The very next week Tua has a bad game and Ravens slaughter them with Lamar throwing 5 TDs clearly the superior QB. Josh Allen barely survives Patriots throwing zero TDs today.

Who the hell is the MVP if it ain’t Lamar? We should be looking closely at these late season games when playoff positioning is in focus. Ravens clinched the #1 seed in the AFC & Lamar has been down two major weapons in Andrews/Dobbins. It is as clear as day that Lamar Jackson is the NFL MVP for 2023.

None of them, them having bad games against great defense =/= they should or shouldn't be mvp. Lamar is on pace to finish below 28 passing tds and 4k yards. If their was a year to give it to a skill player or defensive player this should be the year, but like you pointed out bad games end of seasons makes this award behave like the Heisman, odds have flipped between 4 players

It’s not Lamar’s fault that there is no clear cut QB with 50 TDs & 5,000 yards like in past years. You’re not giving it to Purdy over Jackson just because he has the most passing yards. His numbers aren’t shoo-in MVP worthy. Which is exactly why this season isn’t going to be just giving the MVP to the guy with the gaudiest stats. Nobody has gaudy stats this year.

Never said it was lamars fault, you're explaining exactly why a qb shouldn't be getting mvp

No I’m explaining why Lamar should be MVP. He is down two major weapons in Andrews/Dobbins, his team is slaughtering top teams in both conferences, clinched #1 seed in AFC.
So your argument is in agreement that it should officially he considered a qb award?

QB always wins MVP. Occasionally a RB. So if it ain’t Lamar it’s gonna be CMC. My money is on Lamar.

They ain’t giving it to another QB this year. If we go by passing yard statistics then Sam Howell & Derek Carr > Lamar for MVP :beli:
