QB always wins MVP. Occasionally a RB. So if it ain’t Lamar it’s gonna be CMC. My money is on Lamar.

They ain’t giving it to another QB this year. If we go by passing yard statistics then Sam Howell & Derek Carr > Lamar for MVP :beli:
Neither howell or Carr has had great year by passing statistics. Glad we agreed the award has changed meaning and it's a Heisman like award now

Why do you think the MVP is considered a QB award?
Because no qb has separated themselves from the rest to deserve the award, we giving Lamar the mvp based on team record and baltimores defense. His 2019 mvp was a much better season for him statistically

Why do you think the MVP has become a QB award?

*I'm not talking about this season or Lamar Jackson or any specific player.
Just the MVP being a QB award....why do you think that is?

Read this:

The Baltimore Ravens clinched the AFC North title and the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

With Jackson recording a perfect passer rating (158.3) and throwing five touchdown passes, the Ravens routed the Miami Dolphins 56-19 on Sunday to secure a first-round bye in the playoffs as well as home-field advantage through the playoffs.

They haven't garrett has been great, cmc has been great, parsons have been great. The problem is its now a qb award. Award went from dak to purdy to lamar based on bad performances thats pretty wild and tells you no qb has separated themselves
Can't you use the same argument of less than spectacular stats with the non-QB positions that is being used for Lamar though?
Myles Garrett's sacks numbers (which is what is primarily looked at for pass rushers) isn't great compared to other year's past defenders. Same with Parsons who's had a handful of games where he was ghost. C-Mac is having a great year and will likely get OPOY, but this isn't his best season.

Of course not. Folks always hold him to a different standard than everyone else.
