Ladies, Would you consider yourself a failure if...

Nope. I was raised not to think that that = the main indicator of success (one of the most important things my parents ever taught me.)

I'm honestly learning more toward adoption (of an older child) rather than having a baby (for a number of reasons.)

Key word. If you never find a suitable partner you shouldn't feel any type of way that you didn't. There is so much more to life than marriage and children. If you can't find fullfillment without them, then you may have a problem. Yes it would be nice...ideal even to experience the world with your kids and husband but if you don't have them still experience life. fukk having a pity party or settling for someone you don't even like.

its why getting married having kids etc. is called settling down

I am not saying settle in that way. I am refering to who you choose to be with, as in a woman just marrying the first person who proposes just to say they are married.

It's in our DNA, but two women that are in love with each other can't biologically have children though.

It's not in our DNA, it's purely environmental. My reasoning is that I don't wanna be another version of my own mother, be in an unhappy relationship, have a child I never wanted, and then use the child as a bargaining chip. Relationships are a fickle thing, if shyt goes sour watch your whole damn family crumble as a result. Me not wanting children comes from the environment that I was raised in. Plus, some women can't biologically have children. To each their own, at least I'm doing something right by not having a child I wouldn't be able to take care of anyway .

Wait, I never claimed to be a feminist, in fact, I've scrutinized feminism on here before. Just because I don't want to reproduce doesn't mean I'm a feminist? lol

Who said I'm denying biology? What about the women who are unable to procreate, do they no longer have a purpose in life or?

I would be a hell of a gypsy man. Seriously. Fulfillment comes in so many forms.
