Welven is pretty relevant isn't a nobody in my eyes. Look at recent interviews, they've had Treach, Bridget Kelly, Jill Scott, Pastor Troy, and Justin Skye on there in the last month. No way you tell me if those names can get on there Jean Grae can't.

My point about Welven is that he's not a entertainer/performer tho. He's a Vine sensation. We've seen this. He'll be here, next minute he won't. Internet now has such a huge influence on what becomes popular. Before, Welven or a persona similar wouldnt make it that far as easy. Cuz we wouldnt get the oppurtunity to build a name or reach that plateau that easily of just goofy homemade videos. If that's good or bad is up for debate & relative to whom.

My other point was that you said "Welven is pretty relevant" - proves my point. So therefor he's invited on there so that media platforms can eat off that popularity & continue to grow in demographics, which means more listeners, which means more advertisment/sponsors & which means more $$$.

I'm sayin, people forget that radio is a business.
