Oh and Robin is also a top 10 Icon, the character is the quintessential sidekick superhero character. When you think of Batman you think of Robin. "Sidekick superhero" automatically = Robin. I would probably put him at 6. Not even sure if there's anymore after them.

One of my best friends is a HUGE flash fan..he will watch anything with Flash over anything else..and I'd argue there's a lot of dope stuff in DC...Darkseid, Doomsday, the entirety of Apokalips, Brainiac, etc. It's all about execution. You get a good writer/good director and they can make anything pop. Bruce Timm managed to make that entire DC universe pop and be cool and be used for a really intelligent allegory all because he's talented as fukk and gets the world. Same with the cats who did Young Justice.

I keep saying it but one of my friends was shocked when spider man didn't show up in the daredevil tv show and wondered how did daredevil end up fighting the kingpin because kingpin is a spider man villain and the reason he believes is that because of the cartoon, no matter how many times i tell him otherwise. So we all just gravitated to whatever was feeding us
