Is there a more tragic and thirst inducing Trilogy than Nolan's Batman?

Hard for him to do all that with that stiff ass costume (pause) he be rocking.

The whole concept of batman is obsolete. The ONLY thing that nikkas holding on to is the symbol and the mask. Even the villians were :flabblynsick: like. Don't NO CRIMINALS give a fukk about Gotham they way the make it out to be.

So many daps issued in this thread........ Goons literally fall by themselves during fight scenes. shyt turns from day to night in seconds. fukking cops are captured underground for presumably months, come out clean, with no facial hair and dash down streets with no guns against armed goons and don't get shot. fukking stock exchange plots that make ZERO sense. Ridiculous character motivations...dude just runs away with a female that set him up and is this is the LAST we see of Bruce Wayne? Literally every scene in that movie had me thinking about it as it went into the next scene like...wait I don't think that made any sense. Sloppy movie, brehs.
that whole last battle was :childplease: but why you had to remind me off the stock exchange??? Goons break in, hack the computers, make transactions in your name, Bane gives a dramatic speech then robs NOBODY... you got 100 witnesses & camera footage but cant figure out a :demonic: mercenary goon from the League of Shadows knows who you are??? you were in the League for years wit no mask but get shook when he says Mr. Wayne like they shouldnt know who you are after he just bankrupted you?? all that equipment & you dont notice them goons directly below you, Bane even told him where he was, shouldnt you know youre under your buildin??? this movie gets worse when you understand this dude supposed to be the worlds greatest detective... :snoop: im bout to watch it just for the fukkery...
I think we all need to take into effect that after Heath Ledger died Nolan had a hand tied behind his back. He was planning on ending the trilogy with the Joker. Not Bane. He took like what? 3 years to cobble together TDR from it original was supposed to be?
i remember that Joker was supposed to be a major factor but damn...

I still think they're coming out with a new Batman way too soon. Should've held off and got some more DC characters going solo, then Batman comes along and is like " superpowered people, someone needs to keep an eye on you :whoo: and it's gonna be me :birdman:" and that leads to them forming the League and all working together.

They had no choice.

Marvel was tapping that @ss. And when MOS flopped, they had to go back to Batman.

It's like Tim Duncan. Most reliable player. Played all 3 quarters and needed some rest early in the fourth, but they were getting blown out so he had to come off the bench without rest.

So many daps issued in this thread. TDKR falls apart the second you assess it. I left the theater like :beli: which quickly evolved into :comeon: and eventually :scust:. I basically assess the value of who I fukk with by people who loved that move. I've had to stiff arm a few friends on some "I love you but....:snoop:" shyt. From the plot to the EDITING that movie falls apart. A lot of dumb shyt happened in this movie like you mentioned.

But the dumbest shyt was the final scene. Cops unarmed running in the middle of the street like extras in a Braveheart movie for a few hundred yards towards mercenaries on higher ground with fully automatic weapons. They all should have been gunned down:shaq2:

I didn't like how 2Face/Harvey Dent died so easy either. He can survive that car crash with no problem but can't survive weak ass drop? :comeon:

Thats one thing I agree on .... to me the villians should never have died... they dont need to kill off every villian at the end of a movie..

I dont mind Batman Begins and Dark Knight having Bruce clunky since it was basically Year One..

How did MOS flop :what:

It's budget was 225M and it made 668M

I guess Iron Man and Thor flopped too :sas1:

MOS could only be thought of as a flop amongst fans...after they had already spent their money. I hated it, but they got like 20 bucks out of me. IMAX in NY? I felt like Migos at the hands of Keef's crew when I got out of there.

Do I care about how much money these studios make?:sas1:

Do you?:sas2:
Do you judge a movie's appeal based on how much money they make?:skip:
